First Look at the Patta x Nike Air Max 1 ’87 Waves Pack

Name: Patta x Nike Air Max 1 ’87 WavesColorway: White/Hyper Crimson-Pure PlatinumSKU: II7055-100MSRP: $150 USDRelease Date: Spring 2026Where to Buy: NikeThe most influential collaboration in the history of the Nike Air Max 1 is returning to its rhythmic roots. Following the massive success of their 2021–2022 run, Patta and Nike have announced a powerful reunion for Spring 2026, delivering two new iterations of the legendary “Waves” pack. This latest drop centers on Hyper Crimson, a high-energy hue that pays a vivid tribute to Dutch national identity and the deep-seated football culture of the Netherlands. The collection, teased by co-founder Guillaume Schmidt of Patta on Instagram, features two distinct color stories built around the signature undulating mudguard. The first pair utilizes a striking Pure Platinum base, allowing the bold crimson wave and a sharp black Swoosh to command attention. The second version offers a more ethereal aesthetic, blending white and platinum tones with a multi-colored Swoosh that provides a softer, artistic contrast. By returning to the Air Max 1 silhouette, Patta re-centers its partnership on the design language that originally cemented its global legacy.Beyond the aesthetics, the collaboration remains deeply personal. Each box includes a gold bracelet adorned with Nike branding and the Surinamese flag, a quiet but powerful homage to the heritage of Patta founders Edson Sabajo and Guillaume Schmidt. This inclusion ensures that the “Waves” pack is more than just a footwear release; it is a narrative of cultural pride and personal history. As the ripple returns, it proves that the most enduring collaborations are those that carry genuine emotional weight. View this post on InstagramA post shared by Guillaume Schmidt (@geepatta)

The Jordan Pointe Appears in a Hot “Chile Red” Colorway

Name: Jordan Pointe “Chile Red”Colorway: Chile Red/Deep Maroon/Pueblo RedSKU: IB8597-600MSRP: TBCRelease Date: TBCJordan Brand is pirouetting into new territory with the introduction of the Jordan Pointe “Chile Red,” a silhouette that daringly combines the grace of dance with the grit of street fashion. As the Jumpman expands its women’s footwear catalog beyond heritage basketball retros, this new model serves as a striking experiment in form, bridging the gap between performance art and modern utility. The design is an overt nod to the ballet shoe, featuring traditional ribbon lacing that wraps the foot for a secure, dancer-like fit. However, the delicate upper is juxtaposed with a substantial, trend-forward bulky outsole that grounds the shoe in contemporary sneaker culture. A Velcro strap adds an additional layer of support and technical styling, preventing the aesthetic from feeling too costume-like.For this specific iteration, the design team utilized a monochromatic palette of Chile Red, Deep Maroon, and Pueblo Red. The result is a tonal, sophisticated look that feels more editorial than the previously seen “Royal Blue” counterpart.
