Pairs like the San Francisco railway system-inspired “Muni Fast Pass” and the polarizing Kirkland Signature collaboration are expected to drop in the new year.Adding to the list, a new “Som Tum” colorway of the sneaker has just surfaced. Drawing inspiration from the Thai dish, a papaya salad, this take on the sneaker features brown woven paneling that nods to hand-woven baskets. “Blaze Orange” accents are present at the piping and laces. Meanwhile, silver strikes the heel with Thai script present at the tabs. Thematic graphics are spread throughout the sneaker, from the interior side of the tongue tags to the sockliner, completing this early look at the pair.At the time of writing, Nike SB has not yet discussed when this Thai food-themed “Som Tum” colorway of the SB Dunk Low will be dropping. Its retro-inspired counterpart, the ABZORB 2010, is another key contributor and features a brown and silver composition that notably sports a textured tongue. Two on-theme iterations of the 204L are next, offering brown and white uppers respectively. Pony hair detailing hits the heel tab while an all-black sole rounds out each pair. Completing the range is the 574, which similarly finds itself adorned in two new looks. These monochromatic makeovers feature off-white and black from collar to sole, save for the red branding notes.
