Jordan Brand Is Ready to Celebrate the Air Jordan 11’s 30th Anniversary

With 40 entries in the Air Jordan series, it’s no surprise that every year is highlighted by anniversaries. For 2025, however, it was particularly exciting with the Air Jordan 1’s 40th anniversary leading the year with more than a handful of big launches. Looking ahead, it’s the Air Jordan 11 and its 30th anniversary that will be closing the year with a bang. In addition to several holiday launches that have been on our radar this year, the Jordan Brand team has just offered a complete preview of nine pairs that are coming soon.Air Jordan 11 “Rare Air” (October 1)Up first is the Air Jordan 11 “Rare Air.” After discussing it as a rumored pair, we offered an exclusive first look at the sneaker earlier this year when previewing the “Rare Air” collection. Now, it’s confirmed to be dropping this week. A blue patent leather mudguard is joined by red Jumpman branding at the collar and black “JORDAN” lettering atop the white leather upper. A semi-translucent outsole covers off-white, red, black, and blue detailing.Kids’ Air Jordan 11 “Inner Beast” (October 4)Kids are being invited to participate in the festivities as the Jumpman team has assembled the Air Jordan 11’s first standalone kids’ launch: the “Inner Beast.” This stealthy pair pays homage to Michael Jordan’s “Black Cat” persona with a mixed material upper that features camouflaged velvet at the mudguard and a claw graphic underneath the green Jumpman logo. Glow-in-the-dark detailing, most prominently at the outsole, completes the unique look.Women’s Air Jordan 11 “Pearl” (November 11)Ladies are also being treated to an exclusive colorway of the Air Jordan 11 with this new “Pearl” rendition. Previewed previously as the “Grand Finale” colorway, we now see that it carries a pearl keychain that nods to its crisp white arrangement. Pearlescent detailing and wide ribbon laces give the sneaker additional flair while “Sail” notes emphasize its gentle palette.Air Jordan 11 “H-Town” (November 22)Region-specific releases are scattered throughout the preview, with Houston as one of three North American cities to feature its own pair. Dubbed the “H-Town” colorway, this brown, white, and blue rendition of the shoe nods to the city’s hustle culture by representing the trunk of a car. Silk suede runs across the upper while a chrome Jumpman logo is flexed at the collar.Air Jordan 11 “Mojave” (November 22)Las Vegas is also joining the fun as this “Mojave” iteration recreates the purple hue found within the city’s red rocks sunsets. An aged nubuck is present throughout the upper as reflective detailing nods to the bright lights of the city. Meanwhile, the gold carbon fiber outsole plate is a subtle nod to the Vegas Strip.Air Jordan 11 “285” (November 22)Rounding out the three-city pack for North America is this “285” look that commemorates Atlanta, specifically Interstate 285, which encircles the city. A pebbled leather upper in white is joined by debossed, route-like linework around the mudguard. The city’s street art culture is embraced via the multicolor lining and footbed to complete the presentation.Air Jordan 11 “China” (December 1)Next, Jordan Brand takes things overseas as a special “China”-themed take on the Air Jordan 11 has been assembled. The country’s emerging hoops scene is paid tribute to with canvas, suede, and patent leather working harmoniously with beaded patterns and embroidery. These elements combine with a rich combination of brown and off-white at the upper and white and gum at the sole.Air Jordan 11 “Gamma” (December 13)Another long-anticipated launch within this range is the return of the Air Jordan 11 “Gamma.” We’ve discussed its return throughout 2025 and now have an official set of images previewing what to expect from the 2013 look. A black upper is accented by blue and gold notes, including a semi-translucent blue outsole that completes the remake.Air Jordan 11 “Tokyo” (Spring 2026)Completing the collection is an early 2026 launch that takes the sneaker to Japan. This regional “Tokyo” colorway offers a straightforward white and gray palette that features special subtle details. A nod to Japanese embroidery is present at the tongue while a map to Jordan’s championships is present at the semi-translucent outsole. View this post on Instagram A post shared by HYPEBEAST (@hypebeast)
