Official Images of the ADER error x Converse Chuck 70

Revealed last week, South Korean label ADER error has joined forces with Converse to reimagine the Chuck 70. The pair taps into ADER error’s “The new is not new” design philosophy that connects past and present with cues from classic looks.Distorting an aged look with a deconstructed aesthetic, the duo has equipped the old-school Chuck 70 with various collaborative elements. An asymmetric presentation sees both shoes featuring blue cut-outs of canvas attached from the toes to the collar. The left shoe carries “The new is not new” text that begins in a blue print on the aged midsole and transitions to blue embroidery on the off-white canvas upper. An ADER error license plate also appears on the left shoe’s heel with unique co-branded designs landing on each shoe’s tongue. Lastly, “The new” and “not new” text arrives on the right and left shoe’s respectively in black.Release for the ADER error x Converse Chuck 70 begins January 9 via ADER error. Select offline stores will stock it on January 10 and Converse has scheduled a launch on January 12 at a price of $115 USD. View this post on Instagram A post shared by A D E R (@ader_error)For more in footwear, Jordan Brand is celebrating Chinese New Year with a “Year of the Rabbit” capsule that features footwear and complementary apparel.

Nike ACG Zoom Gaiadome GORE-TEX Gets Fitted in a “Khaki/Atomic Orange” Color Scheme

With sub-zero snowstorms and pouring precipitation starting to show up more consistently now, it’s imperative that if you are going to step outside that you have the proper footwear to keep your comfortable and protected. Thankfully, the Nike team has been rolling out a variety of weatherproof footwear models, one being the Nike ACG Zoom Gaiadome GORE-TEX. After getting unveiled in a “Trails End Brown” colorway, the model has been unveiled in a new “Khaki/Atomic Orange” color scheme. To prevent your feet from getting drenched in the snow and rain, the Swoosh designers have dressed this gorpcore sneaker with GORE-TEX membranes across its high-cut base layer. A majority of the upper half is styled in “Khaki” while notes of soft white show up on the ACG branding that lands on the tongues, small Nike checks atop the quarter panels and GORE-TEX hits on the forefoot. Pops of “Atomic Orange” are dispersed to the ACG logos on the collars as well as the pull tab son the tongues and heels. The latter channels a construction worker vest-inspired look which makes sense in this context considering that the sneakers are built for functionality and can be spotted in dimly-lit environments.Nike and other retailers will be dropping these in the coming weeks for $230 USD.In other news, another Premium Goods x Nike Air Force 1 Low collaboration has surfaced.
