BOOST is a fundamental part of adidas’ identity, kitting out everything from the UltraBOOST and YEEZY 350 BOOST to more obscure pairs such as the ZX 2K BOOST, the NMD family, and BOOST-filled slides. Now, the Three Stripes applies its familiar cushioning technology to a new style, dubbed the Xare.Coming in go-to colorways of “Core Black” and “Footwear White,” the new silhouette draws heavily from adidas’ running archive — specifically looking at styles from the 2000s. During this time, adidas’ offerings were less chunky than what came in the ’90s, opting for lightweight and sleek touches that were often accented with details that added bulk. For the Xare BOOST, adidas utilizes a streamlined mesh body before equipping it with synthetic overlays. Working the toe bumper, mid-panel, and heel, wavy shapes create sculptural moments all over the upper, leading the eye to signatures such as tonal Three Stripes on the mids while intriguing elements like asymmetrical stitching on the heel keep things current.Rounding off the Xare is contrasting branding on the tongue, appearing in orange on the black colorway and silver on the white offering, with further hits of color decorating the interior.Take a look at the new adidas Xare BOOST above, and pick up both pairs now from retailers like Footpatrol for £150 GBP (approx. $178 USD).In other news, the unreleased YEEZY 450 Slide has been teased once again.

Take a Closer adidas’ Unreleased 450 Yeezy Slide in Yellow
While adidas will continue to release YEEZY 350 V2 silhouettes without branding, there’s still the issue of what will happen to the footwear already produced. One of the models, the YEEZY 450 Slide in yellow, was teased as early as 2020 but was never released with exception of it being teased by Kim Kardashian. Now, SOLESBYZAY has revealed that he is in possession of a number of pairs and has given his followers a closer look at the slides that he says he is “99% sure will never get released.” Like the “Ophani” colorway, these were set to sell for $65 USD, but we will probably never see them at retail stores. From the images, we now get a better look at the branding and the slides’ curved outsole pattern.
