A New “Triple Black” Outfits the adidas UltraBOOST 1.0

Since hitting the market in 2015, the adidas UltraBOOST has been a go-to lifestyle choice courtesy of adidas Running. Countless collaborations — including with Hypebeast — and variations to the model have hit shelves and the original model — albeit with a few tweaks — is still a popular option from the brand. Kicking off the new year, the UltraBOOST 1.0 saw its “Core Black” and “Cloud White” looks appear once again alongside two colorways celebrating Disney’s 100th anniversary. Now, the “Triple Black” treatment makes a return. One of the first color schemes to sport colored BOOST, “Triple Black” has covered the UltraBOOST and its countless iterations many times now. For 2023, a women’s colorway sees the all-back presentation backed by a hint of “Beam Pink” at the Torsion System branding on the outsole. Elsewhere, Primeknit makes a return as the base material, offering a sock-like fit with the standard Three Stripes cage and heel counter in a matching black. A reflective tongue tab finds itself in a dark gray while the full-length BOOST midsole is painted black, resting atop a black Continental rubber outsole, completing the look with cushioning and resilience. For those wanting to rock an all-black look in comfort, the adidas UltraBOOST 1.0 “Triple Black” is scheduled to hit shelves in women’s sizing via adidas on January 11 at 3am EST. Pairs are priced at $200 USD.In other footwear news, Puerto Rican superstar Bad Bunny is back at it again with adidas, outfitting the Campus in a fresh “Cloud White” this month.

TOMBOGO Teases a Glow-In-The-Dark Saucony Butterfly Collaboration

Saucony made a splash in the footwear sphere in 2022 by tapping up-and-coming streetwear imprints Maybe Tomorrow and TOMBOGO to give them a shot at their first sneaker collaborations. The latter impressed sneaker aficionados with a TOMBOGO x Saucony The Butterfly silhouette — an interchangeable slip-on that further added to the hype surrounding clogs. And after debuting in a lighter gray colorway last Summer, the model has now been teased in a brand new green colorway that bears glow-in-the-dark capabilities. The futuristic kicks alternate between various shades of green. The exoskeleton — which features abstract cut-outs across the toe boxes, forefoot and heels — is shaded in a pastel green hue and comes stamped with TOMBOGO branding on the lateral heel. When charged up by sunlight and placed in a dimly lit environment, this layer glows with neon green fluorescence. Inside, the removable bootie contrasts with an olive green neoprene and features gray trim around the collars. No official release information has been announced just yet, but TOMBOGO has confirmed that these will be a limited edition release in the coming months. Peep a first look at the pair in the gallery above.Elsewhere in sneakers, Frank Cooke recently dropped a Saucony Jazz 81 collaboration that was limited to 750 pairs.

Air Jordan 1 High Golf Gets Treated With a Classic “Black/White” Ensemble

Having had plenty of success releasing retro-inspired kicks in 2022, Jordan Brand and its golf category have every intention of doing more of the same in this new year. For those looking to elevate their fairway-ready wardrobe, you can be on the lookout for MJ’s imprint to release an Air Jordan 1 High Golf “Black/White” colorway that has just been unveiled via official imagery. The timing works out for the reveal of this installment as the anticipated Air Jordan 1 Hi ’85 “Black/White” is set to release during the Spring ’23 season. And so in this case, lifestyle and golf fans can get hyped up to have one pair to rock in the streets and one to perform in on the putting green. As its moniker suggests, this iteration opts for the yin-and-yang theme. Toe boxes, quarters and tongues are backdropped in white while the Swooshes, laces, ankle flaps, collars and overlays are dyed in solid black. Ball-and-wings logos stand out in white while the Jumpman Golf insignias placed on the tongues contrast in black. Down below, the treading has been enhanced with raised spikes so that wearers have more grip on the course.Official release information should trickle out in the coming months. In other news, on-foot images of the Air Jordan 3 “Lucky Green” have popped up.
