In 2023, the Air Max 97 enters its 26th year, and Nike shows no signs of slowing down when it comes to introducing new colorways of the low-cut model. Two iterations of the Air Max 97 recently joined the “Athletic Company” collection and now the pair arrives in a simplistic white, black, and beige colorway. White tumbled leather mudguards start things off, running through the lower perimeter of the sneaker. Minimal beige edges sit atop, curved black mesh and leather panels cover the upper half and tonal windows at the medials allow for darkened Nike Swooshes to peek through. Rear tabs boast standard Air Max branding, while white lacing systems surround embroidered Nike Swooshes on the tongues. Full-length Air footbeds are exposed through the midsoles, complete with black rubber outsoles. Elsewhere, the Nike Dunk Low lands in “Gorge Green.”

The Nike Dunk Low is set to arrive in a clean “Gorge Green” colorway. The new year has begun, and Nike is already preparing to drop a variety of Dunk Low colorways set to dominate shelves throughout the year. Now, the imprint adds one more rendition to its list with the all-new “Gorge Green” colorway. The dark green hue has recently dressed the Air Jordan 1 High and Air Force 1 Low, now hitting the leather overlays of the Dunk Low. The sneaker is contrasted with a white leather base, adorning the toe boxes, medial panels, and rears. “Midnight Navy” profile Swooshes connect to back tabs marked with Nike lettering, while white midsoles and tinted bottoms complete the design. Having just entered 2023, Chinese New Year is right around the corner, marking the return of the “Year of the Rabbit.” Celebrating this, Nike has gone all out with a Jordan Brand collection, various “Leap High” colorways across Nike silhouettes and at least four Dunk Lows dressed in the theme. Previously, the Swoosh revealed white and red, blue/red/white and brown/orange/bordeaux colorways of the Dunk Low carrying the theme and just when sneakerheads thought that was it, a taupe presentation has appeared.Favoring various shades of brown and off-white, yet another rabbit-inspired pair has arrived. Its textured base utilizes darker taupe shades while its leather overlays favor off-white. Soft chenille Swooshes appear in cream at the lateral and golden brown at the medial, the former of which matches the tongue tab. A brown lining is accompanied by a chocolate brown thematic sockliner to offer additional diversity in color. A theme throughout these Dunks, a rabbit motif is embroidered at the lateral heel in taupe while a smoky shoebox sees its rabbit design joined by “2011-2023” text that points to the last “Year of the Rabbit” celebration that took place in 2011.Still, Nike has yet to announce the launch of its “Year of the Rabbit” Dunks, including this taupe colorway of the shoe.
