Born x Raised Has a Nike SB Dunk Low Collaboration on the Way

2023 is looking up for Nike and its SB label as there are plans in place to release a sizable amount of exciting footwear collaborations. The Swoosh division already has a two-piece pack coming with Run the Jewels and a thirst-quenching team-up with Mexican beverage company Jarritos, and now it’s expanding its wings with a Born x Raised x Nike SB Dunk Low.Early images have landed on our radar, revealing a plethora of striking details. The LA-based streetwear label upgrades the classic SB model with a crisp white and blue color scheme, the former hue residing on the tongues, quarter panels and toe boxes, while the latter is positioned on the overlays. Toe boxes trade out their usual dotted perforations for cross shapes, and the heels are enhanced with holographic heel panels and remixed “Born SB” branding. “One Block at a Time” is a signature motto for Born x Raised, and the imprint elects to highlight this on the tongues and toe tips. It’s likely that these are dedicated to a loved one of the brand given that the laces have been adorned with the words “In Loving Memory”. Additionally, the heels have been styled with a 3D block that spells out “On the Turf.”Sit tight for detailed imagery and official launch info.In other news, images of the Nike Air Force 1 Low “Valentine’s Day” have popped up.

Take a First Look at the Air Jordan 5 Low “Indigo Haze”

It’s not too often that we get to see the Air Jordan 5 Low hitting retail shelves, but thankfully, Jordan Brand is already preparing a slew of colorways set to arrive later this year. The all-new Air Jordan 5 Low “Indigo Haze” is one of them, coming in women’s sizing revealed via initial imagery. Previously nicknamed “Festival Lights,” the pair is outfitted in a soft purple suede upper. Semi-translucent TPU netting is seen on the medial panels, and the imprint’s recognizable Jumpman emblem is embroidered into the heels, planted on grey tongues and standard insole units. Creamy lace locks adorn the throats, while contrast stitching runs throughout the pair in a slightly lighter hue. Tinted plastic eyelets introduce further detailed touches, all settled atop “Flint Grey” midsoles accented with yellowed teeth, exposed Air bubbles, and luminous rubber bottoms. Undercover and Dr. Martens Take a Trip to the Cinema in New 1461 Collaboration

U.K.-born Dr. Martens and Japanese label Undercover have walked hand-in-hand for nearly ten years, having released annual collaborations that defy the traditional. Designer Jun Takahashi often injects his refined aesthetic into every design, previously reimagining Dr. Martens’ 1460 and 1461 shoes, upon others, while also taking part in the brand’s 60th anniversary 1460 Remastered series. Kicking off 2023 with a bang, the unstoppable duo reunites once more for a three-part collection featuring the Made In England 1461 3-eye shoe. Releasing in “Cherry,” “Red,” and “Blue,” Undercover’s recognizable checkered pattern is subtlely stamped on matte leather uppers, while its slogan “WE MAKE NOISE NOT CLOTHES” is tonally embossed on the exterior-facing heel counters. The design is inspired by Jun Takahashi’s adoration for ’70s film, complete with standard black laces and co-branded insoles, settled atop Dr. Martens’ trademark rubber sole units adorned with yellow welt stitching. In addition, every pair will be delivered in custom packaging to round out the cinematic experience. All three pairs will be available for purchase on January 13 via Dr. Martens and select retailers. Elsewhere in footwear, Blue Version by adidas Originals pushes the Stan Smith into the future.
