Supreme and Nike to Release a Courtposite Collaboration

Fans of Supreme are anticipating the release of its forthcoming SB Dunk High and Low “Rammellzee” collaborations with Nike this week, but before it launches those, the New York streetwear label has just previewed another forthcoming Swoosh project. Subtly teased in its Fall/Winter 2023 lookbook, the Supreme x Nike Courtposite has emerged again thanks to rising tennis star Carlos Alcaraz.Alcaraz is currently in NYC gearing up for all of the US Open action, and when he paid a visit to the Nike NY office, the employees blessed him with a myriad of footwear and apparel treats. One of the several pairs of shoes that he received was a collaborative pair that has been done up in the 2002 silhouette’s OG olive green and black color scheme but remixed with debossed Supreme branding adjacent to the laces. Given that its tradition for Supreme and Nike to launch multiple colorways when it comes to their sneaker projects, you can likely expect to see other iterations pop up down the road. Sit tight as we receive more word on their official release.Other items that the Swoosh team gave to Alcaraz include a couple of Attack colorways, the “NY vs NY” Terminator Lows and personalized apparel and backpacks.For other news, the Nike Air Footscape Woven “Fir Green” has been revealed.

“Fir Green” Touches Down on the Nike Air Footscape Woven

Considering sneaker trends for 2023, Nike has kept woven looks in the conversation courtesy of both its heritage silhouettes and high-profile collaborations. Projects with both sacai and Union LA have noticeably emphasized the technique while silhouettes such as the Air Footscape Woven have also made a return. Now, following the reveal of the faux fur-equipped “Black/Smoke Grey” look, the Air Footscape Woven has popped up in “Fir Green.”Kicking off the pair, the upper’s paneling features a rich green suede. Weaving between its segments, the signature woven element that reaches around the shoe appears in black, matching its asymmetrical lacing system. Black branding elements appear at the tongue, heel and green sockliner while off-white and black make up the midsole and rubber outsole respectively.At the time of writing, Nike has yet to disclose any release details pertaining to this “Fir Green” version of the Air Footscape Woven. First Look at the Air Jordan 5 “Lucky Green”

With August almost wrapped up, a majority of Jordan Brand’s plans for the rest of the year have been revealed. As a result, news regarding 2024’s releases has started to trickle in. While it’ll be time for the Air Jordan 4 to celebrate its 35th anniversary, the Air Jordan 5 is poised to make noise with both a previously-highlighted “Olive” look and a new “Lucky Green” iteration.Looking closer at the latter, an early preview of the kicks sees its white leather upper joined by black and green detailing. This includes the AJ5’s “23” hit at the lateral heel, a green Jumpman logo at the tongue and a black one at the heel, green lining and a multi-colored midsole.
