The Nike Sabrina 1 Surfaces in “Apple Green” and “Oreo”

Sabrina Ionescu’s first signature shoe, the Nike Sabrina 1 has just been revealed in two new colorways, following the silhouette’s debut in “Spark,” as seen on her WNBA edition cover of NBA 2K24.While the debut pair opted for a more vibrant expression, the two latest additions to the lineup present themselves in a more subtle color-blocked manner, featuring only a single base color with white details in both the “Apple Green” and “Oreo” colorways.Although simple in terms of color, the design features intricately patterned stitching throughout, a stitched Nike Swoosh on top of a semi-translucent panel, a logo patch at the tongue with a rubberized “S” and a rubberized strip at the heel with a debossed signature. Each of the shoes also has a reason behind their coloring, with “Apple Green” meant to represent Ionescu’s time with the University of Oregon, where she reached a career milestone of 2,000 points, 1,000 rebounds and 1,000 assists. As for “Oreo,” the colorway was selected due to its popular inclusion in the “TB” or Team-Based series. Both pairs feature Nike’s React cushioning and Zoom Air units for optimal performance and are expected to release this September on Nike’s official site for a retail price of $130 USD.In related footwear news, take a closer look at the debut Sabrina 1s in the “Spark” colorway.

Nike Dunk Low “Veneer” to Make a Comeback Summer of 2024

The Nike Dunk Low “Veneer,” a pair first released in 2001 as part of the CO.JP “Ugly Duckling Pack” is set to make a return in the summer of 2024.Previously exclusive to Japan, the entire pack was actually rereleased in stages throughout 2020, with the “Plum” colorway being the first, followed by the “Veneer” and “Ceramic” colorways — whether or not this third visit means an entire Ugly Duckling relaunch is yet to be seen.Nonetheless, the return seems incredibly well received, with the retro staying true to its roots with the only immediate difference perhaps being slightly darker tones, probably just due to updated materials.Featured colors include Veneer, Deep Purple, and Autumn Green, with the upper primarily being made of pigskin suede, layered in Brown, Green, and Purple tones. One subtle difference that can be seen compared to the original pack, is a slightly more modern mesh tongue that features a lace hold in the middle. All this retro flavor sits perfectly on top of a White midsole and Violet rubber outsole. While an official date has not yet been shared, the pair is expected to launch in the Summer of 2024 with a retail price of $115 USD on Nike’s official site and at select retailers. In other footwear news, see official images of the Yuto Horigome x Nike SB Dunk Low.

Nike Drips “Oil Green” Over the Air Humara

Last year, Nike continued to explore high-fashion partnerships by teaming up with Jacquemus to revisit the Air Humara with a new twist. Following multiple successful launches, the Swoosh decided to fully relaunch the silhouette, crafting looks ranging from a dark “Midnight Navy” to a brightly-colored “Wheat Grass.” Now, the shoe is accented by a fresh “Oil Green.”Per usual, the Swoosh has utilized a diverse mix of materials across the Air Humara’s upper, combining leather overlays with a mesh base detailed by synthetic notes. From there, the color arrangement takes advantage of this intricate build with a blank “Phantom” spread across the base and black providing contrast at the midfoot strips, mudguard and lining. Its Swooshes bear a strong “Malachite” green while the signature “Oil Green” coats the uppermost overlay, the toe’s embroidered Swoosh and the heel tab. Rounding out the pair, the typical checkered midsole rests above a black, durable outsole. At the time of writing, Nike has yet to disclose any release details pertaining to the Air Humara this fall, including the “Oil Green” colorway that is expected to touch down on shelves in the coming months. Stay tuned for updates as this pair’s likely to appear via Nike and select retailers at a price of $160 USD.Looking for more of the latest headlines from the always-busy footwear industry?
