Fans of the Nike Air More Uptempo have been treated to an exciting 2023 with the silhouette. On top of a full slate of general release colorways, Nike has added a slide version of the shoe and connected with Yoon Ahn’s AMBUSH to drop it to low-top form.Adding to the list of pairs to come, a new white and off-white combination has surfaced on the Air More Uptempo. The typical leather upper makes a return with white coating a majority of its surface. However, its graffiti-inspired lettering notably features a silver outline that features reflectivity, adding to the layered presentation. Its Swooshes at the toe, tongue and heel make an appearance in black while the Air-infused sole unit draws from an off-white “Sail” with its finish. As of now, Nike has not shared its plans for the release of this Air More Uptempo colorway. Stay tuned for updates as we expect it to touch down on shelves in the coming weeks via Nike SNKRS and select retailers at a price of $180 USD.For more news from the always-busy footwear industry, be sure to check out Sabrina Ionescu’s Nike Sabrina 1 in a brightly-colored “University Gold” ahead of the shoe’s official launch next month.

Nike’s Waterproof Air Force 1 Low Goes All-Gray
Last year, Nike celebrates the 40th anniversary of the Air Force 1 by treating it to a variety of looks, collaborations and new variants. For 2023, the Swoosh has continued this with everything from a new “Halloween” colorway set to arrive later this year to a waterproof Air Force 1 Low WP version of the shoe. Initially appearing with a “Triple Black” presentation, the Air Force 1 Low WP has now surfaced with another monochromatic finish in gray.Kicking things off, the rain-ready upper again removes the typical perforation and much of the shoe’s stitching in favor of cleaner seams that minimize the opportunity for water to seep through. As a result, the Swooshes are created via an outline rather than being attached like normal. From collar to outsole, a soft gray hue remains consistent with a hit of black appearing at the tongue tag only. The heel features debossed branding while the stitched midsole is supported by a translucent outsole to complete the look.At the time of writing, Nike has yet to disclose any details surrounding the debut of the Air Force 1 Low WP. Look for it to land on shelves in this all-gray colorway in the coming months via Nike and select retailers.Looking for more of the latest news from the footwear industry? We’ve got you covered. Joe Freshgoods Teases a New Balance 650 Collaboration
Ever since they kicked off their partnership during the 2020 NBA All-Star Weekend, Joe Freshgoods and New Balance have been consistently working together on collaborative footwear and apparel collections. The two parties were last spotted working together on a New Balance 610 “Beneath the Surface” pack earlier this year, and now they’re slated to add a 650 team-up to their ever-growing catalog. The preview flew under the radar as it was subtly tossed into the Chicago native’s latest “Across Town” capsule campaign which entailed official Cubs and White Sox shorts by JFG for Mitchell & Ness and 5950 fitted hats by New Era. One of the models is spotted rocking the neutral-toned sneakers, and it’s certainly one of JFG’s most minimal New Balance takes we’ve seen. A majority of the kicks are predominantly styled with an off-white hue and come complemented with gray accents atop the New Balance logos, shaggy suede heel panels, lower heel molds and treading. JFG branding replaces the standard “650” forefoot hits and arrives on the tongue banners. At the time of writing, no official launch information has been announced, but you can likely expect Joe Freshgoods and New Balance to confirm in the coming weeks.
