Another Fear of God x adidas Sneaker Has Appeared

We’re nearing three years since Fear of God and adidas announced their long-term partnership. Despite this, the two have yet to officially launch their first fully-fledged project. In 2022, a small INNERSECT exhibition in Shanghai showcased the duo’s new trademark and earlier this year, a bevy of leaked footwear was joined by a brief inclusion in Fear of God’s debut runway show for Fall/Winter 2023.Now, yet another leak has informed sneakerheads of what to expect from the partnership. The shoe itself seemingly borrows from the Retropy E5 with its midsole indents and overlays as gray graces the upper and white coats the sole unit. Looking closer at its construction, suede and ripstop go back and forth as the traditional Three Stripes make a return at the midfoot. Final details are offered by the heel’s “FEAR OF GOD” stamp that has been spotted throughout the duo’s footwear thus far and a slight ripple sole.At the time of writing, neither Fear of God nor adidas have confirmed any details surrounding the debut of their first collection and the release of this particular silhouette. Stay tuned for updates as we expect the duo’s first delivery to touch down on shelves by the end of the year. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Kicksa luo luo (@kicksdong)For more of the latest news from the Three Stripes, its battle against Thom Browne over the usage of stripes is far from over with a new round of lawsuits presented.

Moncler Unveils Assorted Footwear Collection for FW23

Moncler has just presented its latest footwear for Fall/Winter 2023, a collection that sees the fashion house continue to use sneakers and boots as canvases for experimentation, combining luxury and utilitarian functionality in ways that can be applied to life in both the city and the great outdoors. In recent times, Moncler has tapped into the cultural zeitgeist with innovative designs and collaborations that have stayed true to the brand’s core, merging luxury and out-of-the-box aesthetics with outdoor-ready, high-performance functionality. Recently, the brand unveiled a collaboration with Zellerfeld on a new 3D-printed shoe, as well as an all-new collaborative project with Salehe Bembury on the outdoor-ready Trailgrip silhouette. Additionally, Moncler helped Pharrell’s Billionaire Boys Club celebrate its 20th anniversary with a collection fronted by Clipse’s Pusha T and No Malice.Moncler is now continuing to work in the same vein with a new collection of footwear designs that hone in on the label’s outdoor DNA and the best-in-class craftsmanship it has become synonymous with.Starting with an all-new Trailgrip GTX sneaker, the GORE-TEX design has evolved in vibrant hues of pink and “Forest Green,” while all-over cobalt blue and earthy shades of khaki and beige are found across the lateral sides, toe cap, and heel counter. The shoe is also enhanced with an exaggerated tread and curved rubber toe cap that sits alongside the carbon fiber footplate and Vibram outsole. The Trailgrip Knit features a breathable and perforated upper – Moncler’s first-ever digital knit – bolstered by a thermoplastic spoiler, microfiber lining, and Ortholite insole.Meanwhile, Moncler’s new Peka Trek boot comes into play as the brand’s most innovative hiking boot to date. Crafted with a Vibram sole, the shoe is then hit with a water-repellent membrane, and micro rubber midsole. However, the boot’s colorway has been carefully picked with life throughout the inner city in mind via the use of black leather and brown suede that can be mixed and matched with traditional hike-wear or contemporary fashion choices.Moncler also references its classic Maya Jackets with the introduction of its Gaia Pocket Winter Boot. The silhouette is designed with a snap closure pocket and boudin quilting, with its waterproof membrane and cozy down insulation available to wear in low-top and knee-length iterations.Rounding off the collection, Moncler welcomes its previously unveiled collaborations with Zellerfeld and Salehe Bembury, with the former presented as a 3D printed model, allowing creators to produce a fully-formed factory-free shoe. The latter draws inspiration from a shared appreciation of the great outdoors and is hit with a line of thumbprint quilting across a fine selection of green, orange, and “Pastel Taupe” hues. You can take a closer look at the new Fall/Winter 2023 footwear collection from Moncler above, where the Trailgrip GTX colorways will be available to shop via select Moncler boutiques and on the brand’s official website from August 31. The wider collection of styles will then be released sporadically throughout the remainder of 2023.In other footwear news, check out the new and wander x Salomon collaboration.
