Air Jordan 17 OG “Varsity Red” To Return in 2024
Jordan Brand continues to expand its Air Jordan 17 lineup. Recently, the brand announced that it will be returning in 2024 with the “Lightning” colorway and now, it is set to arrive in the OG “Varsity Red.”2024 is shaping up to be a busy year of retro releases. This upcoming classic shoe is nicknamed “Cherry” and was initially launched back in 2002 to show off the shoe’s clean white and red design. The typical white and red, color scheme has been beloved by Jordan fans worldwide. Jordan wore this exact model during his time with the Washington Wizards. The shoe features an almost all-white leather upper with red tins on the toe, tongue, eyelets and mid-foot shank plate. The shoe features a TPU heel stabilizer in blue which sits atop a white outsole.The Air Jordan 17 OG “Varsity Red” is slated to arrive at select retailers and online at Nike sometime in 2024. New Balance 9060 Arrives in “Green Suede”
New Balance has revealed yet another addition to its 9060 line, this time a pair in “Green Suede” with complementary notes of cream, off-white and grey found throughout.The pair joins other recent inline releases like “Crystal Pink,” “Yellow Suede,” and the “Raincloud/Sea Salt,” all of which feature subtle tones and are complemented by the off-white outsoles they sit on.As for the “Green Suede” pair, it features a predominantly green mesh upper, layers of lighter green suede, subtle touches of grey leather and an off-white white leather “N” logo at the outer — with the motion N logo presented through off-white contrast stitching at inward facing exterior.Other details include cream-colored mesh tongues, cream-colored inward-facing mesh, green semi-translucent heel caps and an asphalt grey lower tread.As for this most recent “Yellow Suede” example of the 9060, an official release date has not yet been shared at the time of writing, although, the pair is expected to be available at New Balance’s official site and select retailers soon, for a price of $160 USD.In other footwear news, see how the WTAPS x New Balance 990v6 is resplendent in its restraint.
