Nike Adds Its Cortez to the “All Petals United” Family

Nike is continuing to use its Cortez silhouette as a canvas for experimentation. The sportswear giant has reinterpreted the sneaker with a melange of different approaches as of late, with prime examples coming in the form of the CLOT iteration, where the shoe could be worn two ways, while the “Ying Yang” version was centered around a distinct two-tone look complete with shrouds. Now, Nike’s Cortez sneaker is continuing in the same vein as it joins the “All Petals United” family. This exclusive version of the Cortez joins the iconic Air Force 1 and Air Max 1 and showcases a removable shroud that’s embellished with a selection of pins. Additionally, its white leather upper is hit with “Light Bone” and green suede overlays, with the hues taking over the eye stay, toe box, customary Swooshes, and heels.Meanwhile, the tongue labels include a sparkling flower motif and the custom-printed insoles feature a line of text work that reads “All Petals United.” Rounding off the design, Nike welcomes a solid “Sail” rubber outsole that’s designed to keep wearers comfortable when on the move. You can take a closer look at the Nike Cortez “All Petals United” above and it will be available to shop via the official Nike website and with select retailers in the coming weeks. In other footwear news, check out the latest Air Max 1 colorway.

Two A Ma Maniére x Air Jordan 17 Low Collabs Are Reportedly Set to Release in 2024

A Ma Maniére and Jordan Brand will continue their long-running partnership in 2024 with two new takes on the Air Jordan 17 Low. News of the collaboration, first broken by Sneaker Files and shown in mock-ups from ZsneakerheadZ, is another indicator that the AJ 17 Low will be a major lifestyle push for the Jumpman next year as they’re set to bring back the classic “Lightning” colorway as well. View this post on InstagramA post shared by zSneakerHeadz (@zsneakerheadz)The first pair, supposedly dubbed “Beach,” is said to be inspired by a forthcoming A Ma Maniére location in Folly Beach, SC, a popular resort town just south of well-to-do Charleston. If the mock-ups pictured above prove to be accurate, the “Beach” will feature a sandy tan upper, with oceanic green and blue accents plus a custom label, text hits on the collar and chrome embellishments. The second colorway is said to be a “Cabin” makeup that will offer a woodsy color scheme. A release date or pricing information has yet to be announced, but if A Ma Maniére’s track record is any indication, these two takes on Michael Jordan’s 17th signature sneaker may be one of several drops created by AMM and the Jumpman in 2024. The James Whitner-helmed boutique has become one of Jordan Brand’s most staunch collaborators since the two first joined forces for a Proto-Max 720 back in 2019, releasing an Air Jordan 3 and an Air Jordan 1 in 2021 as well as an Air Jordan 2, Air Jordan 4 and Air Ship in 2022. So far in 2023, the two have already released an Air Jordan 12 and have an Air Jordan 5 touching down this holiday season as well. For more from the world of footwear, check out Hypebeast’s roundup of the most exciting footwear moments from Paris Fashion Week Men’s SS24.
