Paris-based creative unit Studio FY7 is reuniting with New Balance for the second time, continuing to honor the Middle East’s beautiful scenery and immersive culture. The pair first collaborated in 2020, debuting an Algerian interpretation of New Balance’s 992 model. For round two, founder Younes Bendjima traveled to the Mediterranean Sea, reflecting on its relaxed coastlines and borderless cultural community. The duo embraces the New Balance 576 in an all-black design featuring suede overlays across the mudguards, medials, and heel counters. Tonal mesh textiles hit the toe boxes and ankles, while metallic touches accent the upper eyelets and rear tabs. Profile N logos are brought to life with teal oceanic hues and white outlines, completing the design with grey rubber heel caps, cushioned ENCAP midsoles, and black bottoms. Amidst word of Travis Scott’s rumored first signature sneaker with Nike/Jordan Brand, we are now learning about another Air Jordan 1 Low collaboration from the artist. Coming courtesy of xcmade, we now have a first look at the Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low Golf.Expressing a mix of “Neutral Olive/Black/Sail/Light Lemon Twist,” the shoe features uppers constructed of premium nubuck, leather, and mesh. The nubuck base is paired with matching nylon tongues and linings, along with white overlays throughout. Aside from the reverse Swooshes, branding comes in the form of Jumpman Golf tongue tags, “Cactus Jack” motifs, co-branded heels, and printed insoles. After dropping off a range of collaborative Chop Saw silhouettes in April, the Oakley Factory Team has reunited with Brain Dead for a selection of Chop Saw Mules. The exclusive capsule, designed and conceptualized by Brain Dead, feeds off “the rich kinetic energy of change,” spotlighting the evolution of the signature footwear’s shape and composition.The new slate of Chop Saw mules includes four colorways — “Maroon/Espresso,” “Black,” “White” and “Gray” — made from a variety of textiles and materials. The “Maroon/Espresso” model is composed of honeycomb jacquard on its upper, drawing inspiration from Oakley’s first Kevlar shoe, while the “Black” iteration enlists ostrich leather for a unique 3D texture atop of a wavy urethane sole. The “White” option, meanwhile, offers a blank canvas construction, and the “Gray” design uses high-quality leather with a stylish jacquard upper.”Displaying fierce visual traits from its original form, the Chop Saw Mule is a symbol of chiseling ease amidst total molecular transformation,” said the Oakley Factory Team. “Its unique padded neoprene collar allows for a non-isometric stretch that bends with the lush materials.
