In the early 2000s, Nike launched CO.JP or Concept Japan as part of its global expansion efforts. With sneaker culture already deeply rooted in the country, the launch of Japan-exclusives would take the excitement up a notch as sneakerheads around the world fought to get their hands on a pair. CO.JP’s mission wasn’t to create new products, but to tell the stories of existing products, offering compelling spins on the classics.Inspired by CO.JP’s archives, the new “HEAD TO HEAD” sneaker pack mashes up fabrics and colors of retros recently nominated in the “JP Tournament” for two new Nike Dunk Low PRM and Nike Air Max 1 PRM colorways. The Dunk Low samples incorporate an earthy color scheme taken from the Air Max 90 “Escape” and Dunk Low “Beast Pack” while the AM1 is found in collegiate “Michigan” hues. Both pairs feature snakeskin and crocodile patterns over the leather overlays and Swooshes with the addition of custom insole branding.The “Head 2 Head” lottery is now open on the atmos website with a release date scheduled for June 9.Elsewhere in footwear, Onitsuka Tiger celebrates Street Fighter 6 launch with special-edition ENDACTUS sneakers.

Since the beginning of the year, Nike has amped up its release for the Terminator Low, adding another low-top alternative to the Dunk Low and Air Force 1 Low for the summer rotation. Following the reveal in the classic “Georgetown” and “Brown Croc” colorway, the sneaker company is leaping into summer with a new “Liberté” hue.Different from the previously released colors, this shoe focuses on minimalism. Its understated color scheme is dressed with phantom, wolf grey and coconut milk. The Terminator Low is constructed in a mixture of materials, including leather and suede while the tongue features woven textiles. “Liberté,” which is French for “freedom,” is seen printed on the tongue labels and insoles as an added touch. The heel, which is highlighted in suede, sees a subtle embossed “NIKE” branding while the rest of the overlays on the shoe are highlighted in textured suede. To round out the design, the shoe sits atop a sail midsole and grey rubber outsole.Look out for the Nike Terminator Low “Liberté” below arriving in the coming months at select retailers and on Nike for $130 USD.In other footwear news, here’s the official images of the Nike Air Alpha Force 88 “Light Bone.”

LaMelo Ball is taking time to sharpen his skills this offseason, and to bring some excitement to his signature line, he’s just announced his brand new PUMA MB.02 “Be You” colorway. Aside from his vivid collaborations with Rick and Morty, this is might arguably be the Charlotte Hornets point guard’s most adventurous installment to date.The kicks are styled in mismatching fashion as each side contains a myriad of vibrant colors and patterns across the upper and lower halves. The base is covered with a multi-colored galaxy pattern and complemented by a heel clip that is styled with an iridescent coating. The kicks split between volt tongues and blue and red flame-esque side design lines on the right shoe while the left side bears pink tongues and purple and pink flames. Liners on the right side are doused in purple while the left shoe comes prepared with punchy orange interiors. Additionally, the midsoles are fitted with a gradient presentation and are complemented by cheetah prints along the forefoot.Hoopers interested in adding these to their rotation can find these launching on June 9 for $175 USD.In case you missed it, Extra Butter celebrated the PUMA Clyde’s 50th Aanniversary with a fresh “NYC” colorway.
