New Balance 550 Arrives in a New “White/Green” Iteration

In the past few years the New Balance 550 has been a highly popular model year-round. Now, a new “White/Green” colorway has surfaced for the basketball-inspired New Balance low-tops, ready for the summer rotation. The hue bears a similarity to the iconic Aimé Leon Dore that popularized the silhouette.The upcoming release sees the shoe arrive in its typical mix of leather, mesh and suede construction and perforated details on the side. The shoe features a white base upper and light grey overlays up front and on the collars while the green highlights the medial area, tongue branding, heel collar and even the outsole. The “550” and “N” branding are highlighted in white while the shoe also sits atop a matching midsole.Look out for the New Balance 550 “White/Green” arriving in select retailers and online at New Balance in the coming year for $120 USD. New Balance 991 Made in UK “Star White” Has an Official Release Date

The New Balance 991 is releasing in a clean, white colorway for the upcoming summer rotation. This time around, the titular New Balance everyday shoe arrives in a star white, flint grey and dawn blue color scheme. Staying true to a crips and minimalist aesthetic, the shoe is constructed in premium nubuck, synthetic and mesh upper featuring suede panels with a painted cracked surface. It gives off a textured look, a nod to the historic stone carving all while providing the shoe with an elevated aesthetic. The ABZORB midsole provides extra cushioning for added comfort as well as features grey detailing, while it sits atop a black rubber outsole to round out the design.The New Balance 991 Made in UK “Star White” arrives in select retailers and online at New Balance on June 22 for $260 USD.In other footwear news, the New Balance 576 Made in UK returns in “Toasted Nut.”

The Air Jordan 1 Low Receives the “Brown Elephant” Treatment

Jordan Brand has remained consistent in its output of the Air Jordan 1 Low throughout recent years. In 2023, this has included highlights such as the Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low OG WMNS “Olive.” As the Jumpman team gears up for summer, various new looks are being revealed and released each week. After showcasing a “Black Cement” pair, elephant print has made its way onto a new “Brown Elephant” look.To start things off, a traditional white leather base brightens the upper. From there, a rough brown suede serves as the overlays — spanning from the mudguard to the heel panel. The Swooshes carry a brown-on-brown elephant print that add its signature “Brown Elephant” element to the shoe. Elsewhere, black detailing arrives courtesy of the lining, rubber outsole and Wings embroidery at the heel to complete this new look.As of now, no release information regarding the Air Jordan 1 Low “Brown Elephant” has been disclosed by Nike.
