Official Images of the Air Jordan 2 Low “Look, Up In The Air”

Update: After first appearing in December of 2022, the Air Jordan 2 Low “Look, Up In The Air” has now been officially revealed by Nike and is ready for launch. Its release date remains set for June 22 at a price of $150 USD via Nike and select retailers in women’s sizing.Original Story: Looking ahead to 2023, Jordan Brand has made it clear that the Air Jordan 2 and its low-top counterpart will continue to play a key role in its lineup of launches. In one of many colorways releasing next year to surface via early pairs, the Air Jordan 2 Low joins the Air Jordan 1 High OG in recounting throwback Nike advertisements. In November, a first look at a “Skyline” Air Jordan 1 was connected to the promotional image of Michael Jordan in his Jumpman pose with a Chicago skyline sunset as his backdrop. Now, the Air Jordan 2’s “Look, up in the Air” print campaign from 1987 is referenced with this Air Jordan 2 Low.At first glance, the sneaker’s white, gray and yellow upper in leather and suede offers a fairly plain look. However, upon closer inspection the sneaker’s purple to blue gradient at its upper’s linework, lavender tongue outline and sky blue lining tell another story. At the sneaker’s sockliner, it becomes clear where its influence stems from. A silhouette of Chicago’s skyline combines with a purple and orange sunset while “LOOK, UP IN THE AIR.” text that has been pulled from the sneaker’s 1987 ad campaign reads prominently in white.Enjoy a first look at the pair above and stay tuned for official Nike images and release information. As of now, the pair is expected to hit shelves on June 22 via Nike and select retailers at a price of $150 USD. View this post on Instagram A post shared by ?‍? Closer Look at Drake’s Nike NOCTA Glide in “Black/White”

Update: After surfacing last week, TheShoeGame has provided additional shots of Drake’s Nike NOCTA Glide in its upcoming “Black/White” colorway. The project has successfully introduced collections that revolve around themes personal to Drake while also presenting new silhouettes such as the Hot Step Air Terra that blend modernity and retro aesthetics. Following up on the Hot Step’s success, the NOCTA Glide is poised to take the helm as the division’s leading design.Previously, the shoe was spotted via a courtside fit from Drake last year while also being flexed in red and “Triple White” colorways later in 2022. Now, an in-hand preview of the sneaker further reveals its details. Reinterpreting the classic Zoom Flight 95, the NOCTA Glide adds a fourth pod to the silhouette while restructuring its upper to utilize stronger linework. With this “Black/White” pair, the two hues go back and forth with the uppermost portion utilizing a black mesh with a two-tone weave resting below it. Rounding out the look, an icy translucent outsole further taps into the pair’s basketball inspiration. At the time of writing, no release information pertaining to Drake’s latest NOCTA silhouette has been shared. Back in March, it was revealed that one of the old silhouettes Nike is reviving this year is John McEnroe’s Mac Attack.
