Detailed Look at Bad Bunny’s adidas Response CL in “Core Black”

Update: It’s almost time for the next chapter of Bad Bunny’s partnership with adidas as the duo has prepped a new look on the Response CL. While adidas has yet to confirm any release details, select retailers such as Sneaker Politics are preparing for a drop on June 24 at a price of $160 USD. For more details, check out our previous breakdown below.Original Story: Bad Bunny is poised to enrich his partnership with adidas this year by dropping off a vast array of new footwear collaborations. His focus will be on broadening the catalogs of his other silhouettes, one being the adidas Response CL which has just emerged in a “Core Black” colorway. The Puerto Rican artist was first spotted rocking this pair at CinemaCon Las Vegas in April 2022, but this is the first time that we’re seeing up close images of the kicks. Being that the sneakers are done up with a monochromatic motif, it allows the textures and materials to stand out. Mesh base layers are accompanied by wavy leather overlays that rest above the midsoles and towards the heels. Branding is present atop the tongues which feature tonal adidas branding, the quarters that are equipped with translucent stripes and the heels which are decorated with Bad Bunny’s signature eye icon. If this iteration reaches the masses, this will be the Un Verano Sin Ti singer’s most muted colorway to-date.Sit tight as we receive further word on the pair’s official release information and check out an early look in the gallery above.Elsewhere in sneakers, NEIGHBORHOOD has reconnected with adidas for an NMD S1 boots and sneakers collection.
