First Look at the Nike Dunk Low “Red Panda”

Throughout the decade thus far, the sneaker market has been exposed to mass “Panda”-monium. Thanks to Nike and the Dunk Low, black and white kicks have spawned a generation of sneakerheads that cherish the color combination’s versatility. Capitalizing on this craze, Nike has not only restocked its most sought-after “Panda” Dunks countless times, it has reworked the approach in many different ways. The latest to appear with the “Panda” name is a clever “Red Panda” colorway.Diverting from the typical black and white look, the “Red Panda” is a colorful twist that places white next to dark gray, rust orange and black hits. The pair’s presentation begins with a hairy dark gray base. Its unique construction continues with white leather at the eyestays, mudguard and Swooshes. Bringing color into the mix, the aforementioned rust orange adorns the suede heel’s overlays, matching the black and white tongue’s tag with orange Nike branding both there and at the heel. Supporting the sneaker, a black midsole is joined by a dark brown rubber outsole. As of now, no release information pertaining to the Nike Dunk Low in this new “Red Panda” colorway has been disclosed by Nike. Look for it to hit the Swoosh and select retailers by the end of 2023.For more of the latest news in the always-evolving world of footwear, this week’s edition of best footwear drops is led by CLOT and the Nike Cork Dunk.

BEAMS and Reebok Collide for a Skate-Inspired CLUB C BULC Collaboration

BEAMS is often tapped by various footwear brands to either put its own twist on one of their inline models or host an exclusive release. We recently witnessed the Japanese retailer link up with Timberland for a MOC TOE collaboration, and now it’s traveling across the pond to Boston, Massachusetts to team up with Reebok and introduce a brand new CLUB C BULC silhouette. The silhouette is essentially a beefed-up variation of the Club C and was designed to pay homage to skateboarders. It’s fitted with crispy leather uppers, rubberized toe caps and outsoles for added stability and traction, all of which are shrouded in a clean white hue. The tongues have been injected with extra padding to show off a fatter aesthetic that nods to traditional skate sneakers as well as the Y2K fashion trends of baggier clothing from the early ’90s and ’00s. In terms of branding, you’ll find the lateral windows host the traditional “Reebok” lettering while the tongues are embellished with “BEAMS” text. The Reebok x BEAMS CLUB C BULC will be available for $120 in unisex sizing via BEAMS on July 1, and launch globally on July 7 through Reebok.Elsewhere in sneakers, Anuel AA was named one of Reebok’s newest brand ambassadors.
