With this, and its celebration of serving the Swoosh for a quarter of a century, the shoe finds itself in new looks left and right. Most notably, Samuel Ross and his label A-COLD-WALL* have readied a collaboration on the silhouette that is a perfect pairing for any UK-based sneakerhead. Now, Nike looks to yet another stealthy makeover for the shoe as it has just been revealed in a “Black Gum” presentation. As the name suggests, an all-black look has been paired with a gum finish that appears at the rubber outsole. Elsewhere, the typical mesh and synthetic layering of the Air Max Plus makes a return with reflective detailing landing on the tongue and heel. While Nike has yet to divulge any release details pertaining to this stealthy look on the Air Max Plus, it is currently expected to land on shelves within the coming months via Nike and select retailers such as HBX at a price of $170 USD.Looking for more updates from the ever-changing world of footwear?
