It’s easy to lose track of Jordan Brand’s newest silhouettes with the heavy emphasis the Jumpman places on its retro sneakers. Outside of the legendary Air Jordan line, the Nike subsidiary presents everything from hybrid kicks to slick lifestyle options. Introduced during the second half of 2022, the Jordan Granville Pro arrived as the latest addition to the 23 Engineered line. Following a denim-covered look that appeared in March, the Granville Pro sees itself dressed up in a “Club Gold” colorway. This time around, its mixed material build leans heavily on an off-white “Sail” with “Club Gold” adorning the heel and tongue. Classic suede, textile hits and an airy mesh all combine at the upper with various branding details at the heel and a Jumpman logo on the tongue. Its white midsole houses Formula 23 cushioning above its textured rubber outsole to complete the look. For those interested in picking up a pair of the Jordan Granville Pro “Club Gold,” it has quietly launched via Nike and select retailers at a price of $135 USD and is available now.Elsewhere in the bustling world of footwear, Nike has announced a special restock event for the Nike SB x Air Jordan 4 “Pine Green” — only offering access to select SB fans who fit two specific criteria.

Our Legacy Steps Into Its Future With the Bionic Boot
Biker boots have been bubbling under the trend surface for some time now, but thanks to Balenciaga and its Winter 2023 show the motocross item is set to become a big cold-season hit. A case in point is the Our Legacy Bionic Boot, which has just dropped ahead of the curve. The style is rather “out-there” for Our Legacy, a brand known for high-quality and altered takes on every day staples. In recent times, the brand has become more experimental, releasing the likes of its Strainer Shoe and imperfectly-woven crochet bags. The Bionic Boot continues the imprint’s risk-taking, adding a retrofuturistic techno twist to its aesthetic.Crafted from black Spanish leather with a contrasting material for paneling, the knee-high silhouette takes biker cues and works in formal sneaker elements. Our Legacy does so by detailing the generous vamp component, while also adding a Vibram outsole to match its usual sneaker output.YKK zip closure ensures all-round quality, while a lack of exterior branding makes these perfect for keeping a low profile, in case Balenciaga’s more overt branding isn’t your thing. Our Legacy’s Bionic Boot retails for £670 GBP/€750 EUR/$830 USD, and it can be bought online or in-store now.In other news, Buffalo has tapped Gruppe for a reworking of its iconic Tower shoe.
Buffalo Source Taps Berlin Magazine ‘Gruppe’ for Rave-Ready Tower Shoe Collaboration
Founded in Frankfurt in 1979 as a cowboy boot retail business, Buffalo is a brand that sits in its own lane. It was never a brand to rival the giants of the footwear game, but rather a niche that later found cult acclaim in the 1990s with the likes of the Spice Girls and Berlin ravers wearing its chunky platforms for hedonistic nights on the town. Now, Buffalo looks back at its game-changing ways with a new collaboration, tapping Gruppe magazine to rework Buffalo Source’s Tower shoe.In the ’90s, the Tower was something completely innovative. Now, it sets to change the game again with Gruppe’s input, combining elements of clubwear, business fashion, and the underground industrial dance scene. The result sees Buffalo’s shoe appear in the quintessential black colorway all over, but swapping bulbous uppers for a formal, pointed silhouette. Brogue lacing hints at more sartorialism, while underpinning the shoe is a new sole unit. Here, Buffalo’s platform legacy is honored but tweaked, as the sole is closer again to something like a brogue shape.Gruppe’s take on the Buffalo shoe debuts today via VooStore in Berlin, coming together for a party that’s co-curated by the Berlin label and music platform Hoer. It will release en masse on May 26 at VooStore, as well as via Gruppe and Buffalo. In case you missed it, check out Hypebeast’s deep dive into the world of norda.
