OpTic CH3F (@masterchefian)In our first look at the Air Jordan 5 SE “Craft,” a “Light Orewood Brown/Safety Orange-Flat Pewter-Sail” color composition offers a mostly monochromatic presentation of the sneaker. A textile base in gray teams up with a matching gray rough suede at the the heel counter, collar and mudguard. Patterned white and black laces add a pop of color alongside the tongue’s “Safety Orange” embroidered Jumpman logo. At the heel, the embroidered Jumpman favors a silver hue. The sneaker’s signature midsole features white with speckled gray spikes backed by an icy translucent rubber outsole.Currently, the Air Jordan 5 SE “Craft” is slated to release June 17 via Nike and select Jordan Brand retailers at a price of $210 USD. First Look at the Air Jordan 12 “Field Purple”

Across recent years, Jordan Brand has kept its usage of the Air Jordan 12 both minimal and consistent. Several general release colorways and the occasional collaboration take on the old-school silhouette in each annual range presented. For 2023, it started with a bang as A Ma Maniére ushered in two collaborative takes on the sneaker. Now, we’ve been offered a glance at a new “Field Purple” colorway.Appearing in its typical leather construction, the sneaker balances its signature purple with black while sprinkling in hits of gold as well. The resulting color combination is “Lakers Away”-like in its appearance, however, its particular points of inspiration have not been declared. Black coats the uppermost portion while “Court Purple” covers the mudguard and sole unit. Gold lacing hooks are joined by hits of a golden yellow at the heel branding and outsole.Early intel regarding the launch of the Air Jordan 12 “Field Purple” points to a July 29 release date via Nike and select retailers at a price of $200 USD. Investors Sue adidas Over Broken Partnership With Ye

It appears that adidas is not yet out of the dark over its partnership with the artist formerly known as Ye. According to multiple news outlets, investors are suing the German footwear company, claiming that the firm knew of Ye’s problematic behavior for years before it finally decided to end the partnership. The BBC reported that investors are alleging that adidas failed to take precautionary measures to limit their financial losses, knowing of Ye’s behaviors. The sportswear giant recently ended its partnership late last year following antisemitic comments. In the most recent lawsuit, investors are claimed that the lawsuit filed in federal court last week in Oregon alleges that adidas senior executives have known as early as 2018 that taking on Ye would be ar isk.BOF reports that in 2018, adidas ignored serious issues regarding partnering with Ye, putting shareholders at risk. The annual report was only “generally alluding” to the risks “rather than stating that the company had actually considered ending the partnership as a result of West’s personal behavior.” In the subsequent years after, the company chose not to disclose the anit-Semetic comments he made to the adidas staff. The Wall Street Journal recently published details regarding an alleged meeting in 2018 when adidas met to discuss Ye. They spoke about how to mitigate risks of staff interacting with Ye and even possibly cutting ties with the multihyphenate artist. Adidas has not yet responded to these claims.
