As Nike continues to exhaust its classic silhouettes such as the Dunk and various Air Maxes, it often mixes things up with new versions of silhouettes. For 2023, we’ve been treated to new looks such as the Dunk Low Remastered. Adding to this ever-expanding lineup, the Air Max 97 takes on another twist. Previously, the shoe had been spotted in premium renditions, an environmentally-focused Terrascape form and more. Now, it has been elevated with a larger sole unit and unique detailing as the Air Max 97 Futura.Appearing a week ago in an olive colorway, it has now popped up in a milky white. Its upper toggles between suede, canvas and synthetic materials with one off-white hue covering all but the sole unit. A signature element to the Futura version sees eyelets surrounded by a bulbous shape that protrudes from the eyestay. Supporting the sneaker, its visible Air unit includes hits of a rose pink and a peach color while a semi-translucent white rubber outsole rounds things out.No news regarding this cream colorway of the Nike Air Max 97 Futura or the silhouette’s debut has been disclosed just yet. Hang tight as we expect pairs to be arriving in the coming months via Nike and select retailers.Looking for more of the latest footwear news? We’ve got you covered.
