Various Shades of Olive Green Dress Up This Nike Dunk Low Colorway

If there’s one silhouette under the sun that Nike has the mainstream sneaker crowd in a chokehold with, it’s the Dunk. The Oregon-based imprint continues to flood the market with an infinite amount of colorways, and the latest one to be unveiled is this olive and white Nike Dunk Low.The Swoosh has revealed the pair by way of official imagery, allowing us to capture a detailed look at all of its details. In a similar fashion to most Dunk colorways, this pair starts off with a clean, white and smooth leather base, which allows the colored accents to do most of the heavy lifting. Overlays alternate between a pastel green hue around the toe boxes and adjacent to the throat and a muted olive green atop the laces, outsoles, and heel overlays. This dichotomy of accents allows the kicks to fit into nearly any seasonal wardrobe. Furthermore, the Swooshes, heel overlays and interior liners are splashed with an off-white paint job.Check out a closer look at the pair in the gallery above, and find Nike and select retailers dropping them in the coming months for $110 USD.In other news, peep a look at this week’s top 10 footwear releases.

Jordan Why Not Zer0.6 “Khelcey Barrs” Honors Russell Westbrook’s Childhood Friend

Every year, Los Angeles Clippers’ Russell Westbrook honors one of his best friends from high school. His friend, Khelcey Barrs III suffered a deadly heart attack on the court during a basketball game. After Barrs’ death, Westbrook continued to make visits to his friend’s grandma, taking over his chores before he went off to UCLA. This year, Westbrook pays homage to his friend with a new colorway for the Jordan Why Not Zer0.6.The shoe comes dressed in a blue whisper, blue lighting and blue tint color scheme. Like the other offerings, the Jordan Why Not Zer0.6 is constructed with the typical semi-translucent grid-layer and leather overlays and mesh material. The upper’s grid layer is highlighted in a yellow-to-pink gradient hue to contrast the blue tint overlays. Additional nods to Barrs include details like the “KB” initials on the heel tabs. The zipper features the signature repeated “WHY NOT” text on the shroud, while exposed stitching further highlights the medial that sits atop a rubber outsole to round out the design. The Jordan Why Not Zer0.6 “Khelcey Barrs” is set to release in the coming months at select Jordan Brand retailers and online at Nike for $140 USD.In other footwear news, the New Balance 860V2 arrives in “Black/Silver Metallic.”
