Todd Snyder and FootJoy Collaborate on an Elevated Golf Collection

Menswear designer Todd Snyder and heritage golf brand FootJoy have formed a partnership over the last few years, having first linked up in spring of 2021 for a collaborative “Back Tees” collection. It’s been a natural fit for the two entities, with Todd Snyder allowing FootJoy, which is celebrating its 100th anniversary, to explore its own menswear roots. The centerpiece for the collection is the footwear, FootJoy’s claim to fame, which consists of two models: the Premiere Series Field and the new Premiere Series Wilcox. In order to make these stand out, Todd Snyder has applied a camouflage pattern to both, hitting on the midsoles and heel tabs. The Field is FJ’s take on a traditional derby which comes through in this case with full-grain, white pebbled leather and a section of shiny black patent leather around the heel. Complementing that is the brogue silhouette of the Wilcox which uses a combination of smooth and patent white leather. Other details include small accents of orange on the lace ends, stitching, and Todd Snyder x FJ logos on the heel tabs. Similar to FootJoy’s collaboration with Metalwood Studio earlier in the year, don’t be surprised to these models show up on the PGA TOUR.The apparel from the Back Tees collection is nothing to sneeze at either. It consists of polos, sweaters, trousers and headwear and uses rich materials such as pique cotton, mercerized cotton and cashmere. This approach is reflective of an overall movement in golf, a return toward natural textiles and a move away from synthetics. The TS x FJ Pique Polos may be the best of both worlds though, as they utilize ProDry Pique which is designed to have the soft feel some prefer, but still make the most of modern performance with stretch and moisture wicking. The full collection will be dropping on May 18 at 10AM ET on FootJoy and Todd Snyder’s websites. In other golf news, Malbon Golf’s For Health Seekers and Golfers collection explores the connection between sport and relaxation.

Official Images of Air Jordan 1 Low OG EX “Coconut Milk”

Jordan Brand is expanding its EX lineup of the classic Air Jordan 1 Low. Following last year’s release of the Air Jordan 1 Low OG EX model in “Dark Smoke Grey,” the shoe arrives in a more neutral-toned colorway, releasing in “Coconut Milk” for Spring 2023.The “Coconut Milk” colorway features the same utilitarian design that focuses on water resistance. Borrowing the silhouette from the Air Jordan 1 Low OG, the shoe features a slightly modified upper. The base layer has a deconstructed aesthetic as the Swooshes and overlays feature exposed foam edges to give it a three-dimensional look. The upper is mostly a crisp, white base, featuring warm grey-sail overlays and a bold, black Swoosh. The shoe sits atop a sail-colored midsole and a black rubber outsole to match the Swoosh. The tongue is dressed in a light pink tone and the Nike Air branding is seen across the tongue tab and insoles while the Air Jordan branding is embroidered onto the heel to round out the design. The Air Jordan 1 Low OG EX “Coconut Milk” is slated to arrive on May 25 at select retailers and on Nike for $140 USD.In case you missed it, Under Armour brought back the Curry 2 “Splash Party” to celebrate Steph’s birthday.
