Jordan Brand’s latest hybrid silhouette, the Jordan MVP is arriving in one of the label’s most popular colorways. The MVP, which takes design notes from the Air Jordan 6, 7 and 8, celebrates the legend, Michael Jordan’s first three-peat between 1991 and 1993. This time around, the new color scheme pays homage to Jordan’s own college days in the Black and University Blue mix.The shoe gives a nod to the Air Jordan 6 released in 2017 and features an all-black nubuck upper. Additional University Blue accents are contrasting throughout the shoe along the tongues, inner lining, lateral Jumpman logo on the heel collar, as well as parts of the midsole and “Nike Air” branding. The shoe features an icy translucent outsole while the lateral panel features white and blue paint stroke-like patterns. The shoe sits atop a black rubber outsole and a university blue Jumpman logo on the underfoot to round out the design.Look out for the Jordan MVP “UNC” arriving in the coming months at select Jordan Brand retailers and on Nike for $165 USD.In other footwear news, take a look at the Nike Dunk Low “Cacao Wow.”

Since the launch of NOCTA between Nike and Drake in late 2020, the sportswear brand’s sub-label has been a major hit amongst fans worldwide. The label gave the Toronto rapper a chance to express his nocturnal fashion and footwear creative process, kicking off with the highly-anticipated Nike Hot Step Air Terra silhouette.This upcoming NOCTA “Distant Regards” drop is inspired by the lifestyle of Nigeria, offering a selection of versatile footwear and apparel items, mainly focused on functionality. This collection alone features three new colorways of the Hot Step Air Terra in exotic snakeskin print. The elevated pattern gives the footwear a luxurious exterior and arrives in “Lite Bone” and NOCTA.com exclusive colorways, “Light Pumice” and “Pink Quartz.” To keep with the realistic exotic snake print pattern, the upper is textured, mimicking that of snakeskin. The shoe features the NOCTA signature mini Swooshes all around the arch of the foot, while sitting on a gum rubber outsole. Alongside the footwear drop, the “Distant Regards” collection also features a selection of technical apparel pieces including the lightweight reversible vest and NOCTA jackets. NOCTA jackets include the deep pocket tech jacket, the multi-pocketed piece as well as the SWAROVSKI iteration. The SWAROVSKI jacket comes with matching pants, similar to the deep pockets tech pants. The technical crew long-sleeve features the signature NOCTA branding and the worlds, “FORZA NOCTA!” and a reflective accent on the front. In accessories, the collection also includes a set of white and grey socks. The new “Distant Regards” collection will be dropping via NOCTA on May 16 at 12 a.m. EST, and via Nike SKNRS on May 19. Also included in this drop is the Hot Step in “Light Bone,” which will also be available via Nocta.com and Nike SKNRS. The “Pink Quartz” and “Light Pumice” will exclusively drop on NOCTA.com on May 15. Nike continues to expand its Dunk Low offerings, this time arriving in an upcoming “Cacao Wow” colorway. Leaning towards the chocolate mix, the shoe is set to arrive sometime in the fall, later this year.The classic low-top sneaker comes dressed in a sail, cacao wow and coconut milk color scheme and is constructed in the typical all-leather build. The shoe features a white leather base for the upper, while brown overlays are highlighted throughout. Mesh tongues and linings match the brown overlays, while the shoe sits atop a sail midsole and brown rubber outsole.
