Sneakers such as the golf-ready Air Jordan 6 Low “Bordeaux” offer the opportunity to blend two worlds with one shoe. When it comes to branching out into the world of skating, that’s where Jordan Brand’s crossovers shine brightest. Last month, it teamed up with Nike SB to outfit the Air Jordan 4 in a “Pine Green” that included numerous upgrades to its build for the purpose of skating. Now, it continues to tap into the world of kickflips with a new Air Jordan 1 Low look.Dubbed the “Born To Fly,” the low-top sneaker sees “University Blue” make an appearance situated next to white and off-white hues. Joining a red kid’s colorway bearing the same theme, the coloring across and around the lateral Swooshes creates a flame-like effect with blue joined by yellow. Various gray graphics appear at the medial, including “Born To Fly” text on the left shoe. Matching this, additional skate graphics appear at the interior of each tongue. A blue Jumpman logo is embroidered at the white tongue while a matching Wings logo hits the heel in a hand-drawn style.As of now, the Swoosh and Jordan Brand have yet to reveal any release plans for the Air Jordan 1 Low “Born To Fly.” Look for it to hit shelves via Nike and select retailers later this year.Looking for more footwear news? Following the reveal of the New Balance 9060 in a summer-ready “Driftwood” colorway, the Boston-based shoe company reveals its upcoming “Cream/Black” colorway for the warmer months.Unlike previous pairs of the 9060 silhouette, this particular shoe replaces the suede material for leather overlays. Maintaining the breathable mesh base upper, the shoe comes dressed in a cream-colored hue, featuring black detailing across the shoe on the branded areas. Black accents highlight the trimming as well as the inner lining and even accent the “N” logo on the lateral upper. The shoe sits atop a dual-density midsole that features ABZORB and SBS cushioning and a diamond outsole pattern inspired by the New Balance 860 to round out the design.The New Balance 9060 “Cream/Black” releases in the coming months for $150 USD at select retailers and online at New Balance.In other footwear news, the New Balance 650 surfaces in “Canyon” for Fall 2023.

Nike continues to present fresh iterations of its brand-new Air Max Pulse and the shoe is soon to be available in a crisp, all-white colorway.This latest version of the sneaker quickly follows up from the Swoosh’s “Grey/Black” and “Photon Dust” colorways — with the latter being made available on Air Max Day — and for this new summer-ready sneaker, it mimics the color-blocking of the inaugural red-accented debut, one that was presented by rising UK rapper, Jeshi, in a corner shop in Soho, London.With this being said, the latest Air Max Pulse is hit with white hues across the whole of the upper, while the tongue’s jersey-knit composition is complemented with speckles of Off-White along the perforated overlay and mid-foot Swoosh.Additionally, the diagonally-split sole unit and heel clip include a 270-degree Air Max cushioning system underfoot and this is dressed in a colorless shade, with the front half of the midsole and tread imitating the mudguard. “Metallic Silver” detailing rounds off the pair, with the chrome hue being spotted on the miniature Swoosh on the lateral wall.You can check out the new Air Max Pulse from Nike above and the sneaker will be available to purchase in the coming weeks via the official Nike website.In other footwear news, check out the new sneaker from Universal Works and Karhu.
