Merrell 1TRL Is Crazy for Collage In Its SS23 “My Trail” Campaign

Merrell 1TRL doesn’t do conventional, which is why it has tapped the image-maker Elena Cremona to craft its Spring/Summer 2023 campaign, “My Trail.”Embracing the elements of trails, Cremona’s work highlights the various paths one can take on a hike through life by using a collage format. As a result, the campaign blurs the lines between a utilitarian and naturist attitude, working with three models who rock either “Calisthenics,” “Dancer,” or “Rock Climber” as their identity.Speaking on her work, Cremona said: “To me, there is no predictability in choosing your own path. We as humans waver, and we want to feel secure in changing our minds, yet feeling grounded in who we are/what we wear.” Bringing this mantra to life, the SS23 campaign spotlights tactile and technical footwear from the progressive Merrell 1TRL line, like the fan-favorite Moab or the more divisive Hut Moc 2 Pack, which can actually pack down and be stored or clipped onto a bag in transport.Exploration is at the forefront of the campaign, proved by its unconventional manner. In turn, Merrell 1TRL proves it will always champion boundary-pushing footwear, producing styles that you can buy online now. Take a closer look at the SS23 “My Trail” campaign for inspiration.Elsewhere, here’s the official imagery of the Corteiz x Nike Air Max 95 “Aegean Storm.”

adidas Introduces the Travel-Oriented X_PLRBOOST

For nearly a decade, the adidas UltraBOOST has been held in high regards as one of the footwear scene’s most comfortable shoes. Backed by its full-length BOOST midsole and Primeknit upper, there’s few options that match its blend of responsiveness with a glove-like fit. Utilizing it as a blueprint for many BOOST-filled silhouette launches since, adidas continues to explore new material compositions and construction techniques. As we further dive into 2023, the Three Stripes is gearing up to launch its latest look — the X_PLRBOOST.Having seen some regional action last month, the X_PLRBOOST is now arriving stateside as a new travel-oriented sneaker. Kobe Bryant’s adidas Crazy 1 “Lakers Away” Returns This Year

Resurfacing last year, the late Kobe Bryant’s adidas Crazy 1 has made noise with its many releases in the past year — including the original “Lakers Home” look. Additionally, it has served as design inspiration for several of adidas Basketball’s newest silhouettes such as the Crazy IIInfinity and Superteam 2000 S that were previewed at NBA All-Star Weekend earlier this year.In continuation of the model’s triumphant return, the Los Angeles Lakers-themed “Lakers Away” look has been prepared for a reissue. Its color scheme blends a plain black with hits of “Collegiate Purple” and “Bold Gold” that ties the look to the Lakers. Its iconic molded upper favors black across the majority of its build with the Three Stripes appearing in a tonal presentation on each side. Its purple hue chimes in at the lining, eyelets, heel and outsole while its striking yellow hits the toe, midfoot and heel window to complete the look. For those interested in grabbing this throwback pair, adidas is currently expected to launch it on May 1 via its site and select retailers worldwide at a price of $150 USD.In other adidas Basketball news, James Harden’s latest colorway of his Harden Vol. 7 — titled the “Lucid Fuchsia” — has now been officially revealed by the Three Stripes.
