UNINTERRUPTED Unveils Latest Nike LeBron 20 “Speak Your Truth” Collaboration
UNINTERRUPTED has come together with Nike to unveil a new collaboration for a LeBron James signature shoe. Just last month, official images of the shoe were revealed. Now, closer to the release date, UNINTERRUPTED has released the forthcoming shoe’s campaign imagery. The partnership brings forth the UNINTERRUPTED x Nike LeBron 20, inspired by the foundational idea of “Speak Truth UNINTERRUPTED.” With UNINTERRUPTED leading the creative direction for the shoe, the silhouette is brought to life with a unique design of materials, textures and colors. In celebration of the launch of the collaborative shoe, UNINTERRUPTED created the concept “Speak Truth UNINTERRUPTED,” reminding everyone that honesty and staying true to your beliefs is the key to being invaluable. The General Manager of UNINTERRUPTED, Jimmy Spencer said, “UNINTERRUPTED was created to empower athletes to share their voice authentically and without fear of their message being twisted or watered down. Speak Truth UNINTERRUPTED becomes the latest symbol of our mission, this time through an iconic collaboration as well as storytelling from athletes who speak unapologetically with passion and truth.”The shoe takes on neutral tones and is highlighted in “Lapis Lazuli Blue.” The upper is constructed with black linen-like material while the lapis lazuli blue accents the heel tag and parts of the tongue. The decision to choose this particular blue is in due part to UNINTERRUPTED’s inspiration of the lapis lazuli stone which stands for confidence, bringing harmony and deep inner self-knowledge. The semi-precious stone symbolizes strength and courage, royalty and wisdom, intellect and truth. The shoe features two Swooshes, one where a translucent one overlaps the other. The outsoles see the words “Speak” and “Truth” on the right and left sneaker respectively while additional LeBron James branding is seen throughout the shoe. The silhouette sits atop a lime was finished midsole with debossed UNINTERRUPTED branding on the front medial. Take a look at the shoe above which is set to release on April 14 on Nike and at select retailers for $200 USD. In other footwear news, Nike ACG Air Moc surfaces in “Black/Anthracite.”
