Nike is gearing up the Spring 2023 season with a new colorway for its classic Air Force 1 silhouette. Earlier this year, Nike and Tiffany & Co. made a splash with the reveal of their collaborative footwear which saw the classic silhouette paired with a Tiffany blue Swoosh. Keeping to date with the Tiffany buzz, the “Jade Ice” rendition gives fans a muted Tiffany-blue-like rendition for the Spring. This upcoming pair of Nike Air Force 1 Low sees the shoe come dressed in an all-white leather upper with mesh tongues. The Swooshes are highlighted in Jade Ice, which extends into the heel, tongue branding and insoles. Georgetown University Receives an Air Jordan 1 Low OG PE
At the start of the month, the University of North Carolina revealed a luxe Air Jordan 1 Low OG PE that Jordan Brand designed for the school. Following this, other Jordan Brand-sponsored colleges such as UCLA and Howard University followed suit. Now, English Sole has managed to secure pairs from the previously-inspected Marquette collaboration and recently surfaced University of Oklahoma and Georgetown University-themed kicks.Georgetown’s offering sees its classic “Georgetown Gray” and “Georgetown Blue” make an appearance. Previously, the color combination hit sneakers such as the Air Jordan 6 and Air Max 97. Arriving on the Air Jordan 1 Low OG, its pebbled blue Swooshes are joined by a light gray leather at the midfoot and perforated toe box. Its signature gray reaches across its overlays while the quilted lining appears in a shimmering silver. Similar to the other pairs, Georgetown’s “G” logo appears at the thematic sockliner to complete the look.According to English Sole, only around 50 pairs of the sneaker have been produced, confirming that these collegiate PEs are unlikely to be seeing a retail release. BEAMS Partners With Mizuno for an Earthy Wave Rider Beta Collab
Mizuno only announced its new Wave Rider Beta silhouette this month, but it’s wasting no time in handing it off to another entity for a collaborative project. The Japanese sportswear label has tapped BEAMS to craft its own iteration of the lifestyle model and teasers of the kicks has popped up on our radar. This marks the fifth collaboration between this duo.If you’ve kept up with BEAMS’ footwear team-ups and exclusive launches in the past, then you’d know that it has a penchant for utilizing neutral tones. That’s exactly the case with this Waver Rider Beta installment as the base has been formed with a hemp build that’s dyed with off-white exteriors. Sitting adjacent to that are buttery suede overlays and RunBird logos that are prepared with a lighter beige hue as well as cream colored shoe laces. Down below, the chiseled midsole piece is fitted with a tan complexion to complete its earthy arrangement.Parties that are interested in copping can find these dropping on April 1 via BEAMS Japan outposts and online come April 1.
