CLOT’s signature silk royale pattern returns to the forefront here in all-white fashion and makes up the side panels, Swooshes, heels and toe boxes. Solid black accents complement through the tongues, overlays adjacent to the throat and the interiors. Coming courtesy of sneaker insider k9_itsiant, the threeway collaboration is expected to continue CLOT’s 20-year anniversary celebrations this year.Although no real details have been shared just yet, the team-up is believed to stem from CLOT Founder and Creative Director Edison Chen’s ongoing relationship with the sportswear brand and longstanding friendship with Hiroshi Fujiwara.The CLOT x fragment design Nike Dunk Low that has surfaced appears to center around a simple “Black/White” colorway marked by the appearance of CLOT’s beloved Silk Royale pattern. Tied to the Hong Kong-based label’s Nike collaborations, the Silk Royale pattern was last seen in a series of Air Force 1 releases back in 2020.Aside from the usual Swoosh motifs, branding on the shoe comes in the form of “FRGMT” embroidered at the ankles, fragment lighting bolt marking at the heels, and co-branding on the insoles. During the back end of last year, adidas quietly presented its all-new adiFom Superstar in a “White/Black” colorway and now the slip-on silhouette is soon to be available in a stealthy “Triple Black” color scheme.The shoe starts with a foam construction — with part of it made from sugarcane — while the shoe is also complemented with fine paneled detailing along the lateral sides, toe box, and perforated upper. Furthermore, the “Core Black/Carbon” color combination also covers the shoe’s customary Three Stripe branding on the side wall.Continuing to keep the same chunky DNA of the Superstar silhouette, the model is made with comfort in mind with a lace-free design.
