Maharishi Reworks the ‘97 Mizuno Wave Rider 10 With an Embroidered Phoenix

After joining forces with Reebok for a trio of footwear collaborations, Maharishi is ready to broaden its horizons and venture into Mizuno’s catalog. For the first-time ever, the London-based streetwear label that’s founded by Hardy Blechman is linking up with the Japanese sportswear label to rework its ‘97 Wave Rider 10 silhouette. When it comes to Maharishi’s and its apparel pieces, the imprint has shown a penchant for expressing its utilitarian sensibilities through the use of drab tones, and that energy has also been transferred to these kicks. The base layers are brought together with an AIRmesh foundation and come furnished with all-over curvy Trusted Path™ Program certified suede overlays. They both are done up with olive green exteriors, the former of which leans towards the darker side of the spectrum. Quarter panels host the usual Mizuno RubBird insignia, but it’s also designed with a phoenix that is embroidered on top in white.Interested in picking these up? The Maharishi x ‘97 Mizuno Wave Rider 10 is slated to drop in-store and online come March 10. Check out a closer look at the collaboration in the gallery above. Nike Zoom Vomero 5 Gets a “Velvet Brown” Makeover

Nike has several silhouettes under its lifestyle category that the public continues to clear out of the shelves, one of which is the Nike Zoom Vomero 5. The runner had a strong moment in 2019 thanks to flurry of inline launches and collaborations, and it’s now seeing a resurgence in the market that quite frankly nobody saw coming. And in the coming weeks, the Nike Zoom Vomero 5 Gets a “Velvet Brown” — which has just been unveiled via official imagery — will be dropping to the masses. Its titular shade leads its overall presentation here as it gets injected into the mesh base constructions. Other earthy brown shades complement through the suede overlays that span across the toe boxes as well as the glossy overlays that border the quarter panel’s signature cages. Smaller notes of a muted red hue accent through the flecked laces, borders of the Swooshes as well as the mesh layers that lie beneath the aforementioned cage. Down below, the midsoles are packed with Zoom cushioning and are surrounded by an “Anthracite” midsole piece and crispy white treading.Look for Nike and select retailers to release these in the coming weeks for $160 USD.In other news, check out the Corteiz’ latest Nike campaign video.

Official Images of the Air Jordan 1 High OG “Atmosphere”

UPDATE: After surfacing via early leaked photos back in January, the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Atmosphere” — aka the “Washed Pink” colorway — has just been unveiled via official imagery. The shots by Nike confirm that the women’s-exclusive pair will come with pre-aged elements such as the subtle blemishes across its suede overlays along with the cream midsole pieces. As of now, these are scheduled to launch on April 22, 2023 via Nike and select retailers for $180 USD.ORIGINAL ARTICLE:Every season, Jordan Brand releases its forthcoming line-up of sneakers set to release in the months to follow. As a staple, this always includes a dazzling women’s-exclusive pair, and for 2023’s Spring/Summer schedule, the Air Jordan 1 High OG “Washed Pink” has made the list. Now, we receive a first look at the sneaker landing later this year.Holding a vast resemblance to the highly-anticipated “Washed Heritage” colorway, the ladies’ version boasts a similar design yet features lighter tones for springtime. Rugged “Atmosphere”-tinted suede overlays are fashioned with a discolored appearance, gracefully adorning the mudguards, lacing systems, and heel counters. The same hue extends onto the medial Nike Swooshes while buttery white leather panels hit the perforated toe boxes and quarters.”Muslin” leather ornaments the throats for a vintage look, sitting beneath standard ankle flaps embossed with the imprint’s “Wings” logo in white. Nylon tongues are given a faint pink shade, all stacked on yellowed midsoles for further aged details.Take a closer look at the upcoming Air Jordan 1 High OG “Washed Pink” in the gallery above. The pair is scheduled to arrive on April 22 via Nike and select retailers for $180 USD.Elsewhere in footwear, the Nike ACG Mountain Fly 2 Low lands in “Laser Orange.”
