Each have uniquely evolved to suit current trends with the NMD’s new S1 form finding its stride in 2022, only to then further develop with the introduction of Pharrell’s Hu NMD S1 RYAT and NMD S1 MAHBS. Now, it draws from adidas Soccer’s COPA franchise with the NMD S1 FS.A familiar sole structure supports a revamped upper that utilizes the COPA line’s Fusion Skin material that arrived on the COPA 19+ in 2018. It is designed to carry a seamless and less permeable skin, evolving the COPA’s classic leather treatment. It further nods to the soccer shoe with its wavy texture as a sock-like collar completes the colorway’s all-black upper. Referencing its predecessors, red and blue TPU plugs at the midsole offer splashes of color while the remainder of the sneaker sticks to black.adidas has yet to officially introduce the new NMD S1 FS, however, select retailers such as Level Shoes have launched the sneaker. Stay tuned for the Three Stripes’ reveal as we expect it to land on shelves in the coming months as the brand continues to iterate on its new NMD S1 silhouette. For more of the latest sneaker news, Kasina has teamed up with adidas to celebrate artist Kim Jung Gi with a pair of Campus 80s featuring mismatched illustrations.
