As Salomon celebrates the 10th anniversary of the XT-6 in 2023, it’s introducing new colorways, “cousin” styles and collaborators into the popular trail-runner-turned-lifestyle-favorite’s lexicon. The latest collaborative partner to take on the XT-6? atmos, who recently posted a single photo of the upcoming design across their network of Instagram accounts. There’s only so much that you can deduce from a single, dark teaser photo, but there are a handful of interesting design references that can be spotted across the image atmos revealed. The color scheme appears to feature a mixture of grey, black and brown tones with a key detail provided by a repeating star print on the synthetic overlays. There’s also a co-branded hit on the insole and speckled midsole detailing.This isn’t atmos’ first project with Salomon — they served as the exclusive retail for a “Buttercup” colorway of the ACS + OG earlier this year — but it is their first official collaboration with the French footwear brand. Now, the rumors of a high-top partner have been proven true with a similarly-outfitted SB Dunk High pair hitting the net today.In continuation of the duo’s legendary run, the SB Dunk High sees a taupe makeover that features detailing found on its low-top companion. Artwork from the late Rammellzee dresses the canvas heel, midfoot and toe box in an eye-catching multicolored arrangement. Its Swooshes favor the off-white/gray hue in suede, matching the mudguard. Featuring gum bottoms, co-branding arrives with a golden “SUPREME” dubrae and a collaborative hangtag that reads “WORLD FAMOUS” above each brand’s logo.Whether the latest Supreme x Nike SB Dunk launch will be taking place in the spring or fall is unknown.
