Nike SB Is Reportedly Working on a ‘Powerpuff Girls’ Collaboration

According to reports from sneaker insiders, Nike SB is currently working on a collaboration with The Powerpuff Girls which is set to launch later this year. While neither Nike nor Cartoon Network has yet to issue an official statement regarding a partnership, the news seems timely as The Powerpuff Girls, which originally aired between 2004 to 2009, announced a reboot last year. The collab will also reportedly materialize via a Dunk model.“So excited to partner with an incredible studio to develop new characters and stories for two of my favorite creations! Powerpuff Girls, Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends Reboots in the Works by Original Creator Craig McCracken,” McCracken announced in July.Apart from the animated reboot, The Powerpuff Girls will be returning as a live-action remake featuring Chloe Bennett, Dove Cameron, and Yana Perrault as Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup respectively. Official Look at the Nike Air Force 1 Low “Los Angeles”

UPDATE: Official images of the latest Nike Air Force 1 Low “Los Angeles” have surfaced. Paying homage to the City of Angels, the AF1s utilize fabrics that echo Californian skate and workwear styles with blue fabric uppers and gum rubber outsoles. Overt references to L.A. can be found on the metallic Nike Coast pendants, insole markings, and gothic fabric labels on the lateral heel counter. The Nike Air Force 1 Low is a silhouette that has often been reworked with elements of the SoCal metropolis, and this season another entry is about to get added into the mix.From a fabrics standpoint, Nike designers adhered to the workwear trends that are often seen in Californian style, especially as it pertains to the skate community. The uppers of the sneakers ditch their traditional leather builds and bring in a muted blue canvas that’s coupled with tonal Swooshes. Laces are styled in an off-white hue and come accessorized with interstate sign-inspired attachments that read “Nike Coast” and come with metallic silver finishes. Lateral heels expand upon the kicks’ west coast loving as they are adorned with Nike LA badges. Additionally, the insoles are decorated with a the same “LA” logo on the right shoe while a license plate icon graces the left. Y-3 Outfits the Qasa High in “Off-White”

After a “Triple Black” iteration emerged late last year as part of adidas Y-3’s 20th-anniversary celebrations, the Qasa High silhouette returns once again this year in a clean monochrome “Off-White” colorway. First introduced in 2013, the Qasa High is no doubt one of Y-3’s most recognizable and iconic silhouettes to date, having created a lasting impact on footwear culture and design to this day.The upcoming pairs arrive in Qasa High’s signature makeup of stretch mesh textile uppers paired with leather details. Suede lining is found on the heel and elastic straps give the avant-garde high-tops additional structure. Additional details include an extended tongue which is integrated with the collars and a tubular EVA outsole equipped with PORON performance cushioning.The Y-3 Qasa High in “Off-White” is now available via adidas in select regions including Japan for ¥60,500 (approximately $463 USD).
