adidas and Gucci’s partnership has entered its next phase, delivering the Spring/Summer 2023 collaboration that’s centered around new Gazelle styles and the introduction of the duo’s ZX8000 pack.Kicking off with the Gazelles, we find luxurious updates applied to the foolproof sneaker. For example, the colors of the Italian flag highlight a “GG” canvas-covered style, while another goes full Green Goblin with hits of green and purple decking out another logomanic style. A blue iteration follows, but not before the ZX8000 gets its time in the spotlight. Here, we find the archive-derived runner doused in saturated hues, many of which are also taken from the past. It starts with a “Clear Aqua” makeover, utilizing the fan-favorite colorway and applying a dual-branded tongue tag alongside “GG” motifs that are embedded into the silky synthetic panels. The remakes continue with “Pink Statra,” which eschews the motif for dual-branding on the tongue and heel, while the “Beige Tone” style blends elements of subtlety with maximal branding for a classic Gucci impact.Rounding out the drop is a trio of transparent geometric rubber adilette slides, evocative of jelly slides from the 1980s and ’90s. Take a look at the drop above, and head over to adidas to pick up pairs now, or wait for the full release of ZX8000s which arrives on April 7.In other news, Clints has teased its next sneaker.

Autry Breaks the Rules With April Fools Reverse Sneaker Drop
Following its bandana-printed collaboration with luxury retailer Antonia, Texan footwear label Autry is preparing for April Fools Day with a twisted sneaker release. Dubbed the Autry Reverse, the limited-edition style breaks the brand’s fundamental design rules by stepping under a rebellious light. Autry’s iconic Medalist silhouette is used as a base, altering its recognizable medial windows with inverted logos. The rest of the shoe is kept simple, featuring white leather uppers with toe box perforations and disconnected lacing systems. Metallic Autry branding hits the tongues, complete with yellowed rubber soles. The design change symbolizes April Fools’ banter-filled identity and allows sneaker fans worldwide to grasp a pair with a unique detail never seen before. Take a closer look at Autry’s April Fools Reverse Sneaker in the gallery above. The shoe will drop on April 1 via the brand’s website and select retailers worldwide. Orders will only be available for 24 hours. Elsewhere, Shane Gonzales and Vault by Vans come together for first collaboration.
First Look at Jordan MVP “Black Royal”
The Jordan Brand has revealed its newest hybrid model which combines elements from some of the most classic Air Jordan silhouettes. Named, Jordan MVP, the shoe takes on design notes from the Air Jordan 6, 7 and 8, all of which were concocted and designed by the legendary Tinker Hatfield. These iconic silhouettes were the shoes NBA legend Michael Jordan wore in his first three-peat between 1991 to 1993 with championship victories over the Los Angeles Lakers, Portland Trail Blazers and the Phoenix Suns. Paying homage to Jordan’s major feat, the Jordan MVP receives a first official look at the “Black Royal” colorway. The shoe comes dressed in a clean black, white, varsity royal, muslin and iron grey color scheme. Jordan’s newest silhouette is also constructed out of black nubuck material for the upper. Royal blue contrasting accents are seen throughout the shoe including the medial panel, inner lining, heel branding and midsole. Other details give a nod to the three Air Jordans the shoe takes inspiration from, from the TPU paint strokes, tongues, midsoles and the icy translucent outsole. Look out for the Jordan MVP “Black Royal” coming later this year at select retailers and on Nike for $165 USD. In other footwear news, gear up for the summer in a newly surfaced “Pistachio Frost” colorway for the Jordan Hex Mule slides.
