As a leader in collaboration, Nike has developed many high-profile relationships that it continues to lean on for the development of unique, trend-defining products. One such collaborator who doesn’t hesitate to take risks is Jun Takahashi’s UNDERCOVER. Having launched its collaborative Air Force 1 Low project at the end of last year, the attention now shifts to its Moc Flow, an interpretation of Nike’s Air Moc.Referred to as “Ivory” in UNDERCOVER’s FW22 lookbook, the Nike Moc Flow has been officially prepared in a “Light Bone” presentation with UNDERCOVER styling. The updated silhouette sees a textile upper in its titular hue contrasted by “CHAOS AND BALANCE” text — a common UNDERCOVER motif — in “University Red.” Securing the upper, a toggle lacing system is accessible at the heel alongside tonal co-branding. Supporting the look, a speckled sole is packed with React foam for ample comfort. As of now, no release information regarding the UNDERCOVER x Nike Moc Flow “Light Bone” and its accompanying “Beige” colorway has been disclosed. Look for it to likely launch in the coming months via Nike, UNDERCOVER and select retailers at a price of $160 USD.In other exciting footwear news, Nike’s newest iteration of the Cortez — the Cortez ’23 — has been outfitted in a “Velvet Brown” that can be dressed up or down.

Release Info for the JJJJound x New Balance 991 UK “Grey”
JJJJound can never stray too far away from the collaborations headlines because shortly after releasing its newest “Timeless Ape” team-up with BAPE, the Montreal-based design company has just announced its latest project with New Balance. After multiple leaks popped up during Fall ’22, the duo’s JJJJound x New Balance 991 UK “Grey” has officially been revealed.Aesthetically, this forthcoming pair isn’t too dissimilar to what we’ve seen from the two parties before. The uppers are guided by a dusted “Grey” suede which also served as the focal point for their inaugural New Balance 990v3 collaboration that dropped back in 2018 as well as one of their 992 installments that were launched in 2020. Its earth-toned presentation is then completed with lighter grey mesh underlays, sail-covered shoe strings and solid black N logos on the lateral and medial walls as well as New Balance 991 branding that resides on the tongues. Like the aforementioned 992s, JJJJound branding is positioned inside the heel windows as well as on the insoles. Furthermore, the kicks will come housed in a co-branded brown box and will be packaged with an extra set of black laces.Expect the new collaboration to drop on Thursday, February 9 at 12 PM EDT via JJJJound and Friday, February 17 via New Balance. For all news related to New Balance initiatives, follow along here.
