With Salomon, the attention towards to functional, yet technically attractive silhouettes remains a mainstay across its catalog. Now, the French brand is expanding its roster by uniting Wood Wood to present a brand new silhouette titled “XT-SLATE.”Making a fused presentation of both brands’ styles, the silhouette was first teased at Wood Wood’s FW23 runway show earlier this month during Copenhagen Fashion Week. Coming in two colorways, the first up is an earth-toned variation with cuts of brown and Nightshade panels. The second colorway is washed in calm pewter, a sliver of jade green, deep brown and eye-catching Biking Red panels.From a construction standpoint, the mixed-media silhouette features a mesh upper and a togged lacing system. Additional details include a reverse chevron lug pattern, Salomon’s Advanced Chassis system and a Contagrip outsole.Check out the gallery above for a closer look at the new silhouette. The XT-SLATE is available now at Wood Wood stores. Hardy Blechman’s maharishi has just presented its fourth collaborative project with Reebok: an all-new Zig Kinetica 2.5 sneaker.The last installment from maharishi and Reebok came in the form of their Classic Leather iteration, which came as part of the duo’s “Ripstop” collection. The shoe was designed in quite an understated fashion, with a clean silhouette and neutral color palette, however, the heritage sneaker was also leveled up through the integration of a stealthy ripstop material across the upper, providing wearers with enhanced protection from wetter weather conditions.Now, the Zig Kinetica approaches the footwear game with an even closer eye on technical detailing. As a whole, the new sneaker takes a pacifist approach to militarian styling with the color scheme representing a camouflage design that stands as a symbol of nature and art.The sneaker is also wrapped in a “Golden Tigerstripe” design, while a Vibram outsole is used to enhance Reebok’s Floatride Fuel/Energy midsole. Furthermore, the forefoot delivers added comfort and the remainder of the shoe is designed with black patent and suede detailing. 2023 will see Nike continue to push its Dunk Low model to new heights. The Swoosh imprint recently revealed a series of fresh renditions to keep an eye on, including a vibrant “Glow in the Dark” pair and a luxurious satin take on the classic “UNLV” colorway. Expected to land this Spring, Nike now readies the low-cut model in color-blocked Boston Celtics hues ideal for basketball fanatics. The Massachusetts-based team stimulates the colorway as a sleek white base starts things off, contrasted by vivid green touches that hit the mudguards, lacing systems, and heel counters. Black accents are found on the rear tabs and medial Swooshes, while old-school Nike text lands on the tags and insoles. The pair is complete with white midsoles and black rubber bottoms.
