ASICS Looks to Spring in Latest GEL-KAYANO 14

The ASICS GEL-KAYANO 14 has been a darling of collaboration as of late, having recently been redesigned by JJJJound and UNAFFECTED, amongst others. The Japanese footwear company will soon offer a pared-back iteration of the popular runner that will be a favorable choice for the spring months that lie ahead. Similar to the JJJJound model, which sported sleek white and metallic accents, the “White/Slate Grey” colorway retains its silver luster and opts for a verdant green hue along the base, sockliner, tongue label and heel branding. Additional highlights include a neon yellow and green gradient that adorns the GEL cushioning underfoot and a darker green color for the TRUSSTIC system midsole. Truly a sneaker and colorway that can be enjoyed year-round, the ASICS GEL-KAYANO 14 “White/Slate Grey” is available overseas for $150 USD, but those of you stateside will have to wait a little longer to get your hands on a pair.In case you missed it, Nike ACG Watercat+ emerges with clean “Phantom/Light Orewood Brown” uppers.

Nike Dresses Its Air Humara in “Midnight Navy”

Nike has just unveiled a brand-new iteration of its Air Humara silhouette — and this time, the sneaker has been dressed in a clean “Midnight Navy” color scheme.Last year, the 1997-released sneaker was at its height of popularity after the release of the three Jacquemus colorways, and since then, it appears that the Swoosh has more in the pipeline for the model during 2023.As a whole, the sneaker leans toward Nike’s classic trail running DNA with a very strong outdoor approach with its construction. For example, the sneaker has been crafted using a textile-wrapped midsole, while Zoom Air is added to the forefoot.Additionally, the sneaker is also designed with more Nike Air in the heel — this has been applied to provide extra balance when moving quickly on uneven surfaces. Rounding things off, the customary Nike branding can be spotted on the lateral sides — in the form of a huge Swoosh — while the classic Nike logo has been applied to the heel and tongue sections of the silhouette. You can take a closer look at the new Nike Air Humara “Midnight Navy” above and it will be available on the official Nike website and with select retailers from February 28 for $160 USD.Elsewhere in footwear, take a look at the new adidas ADI2000.
