Suicoke’s SS23 Sandals Experiment With Color, Print and Textiles

After connecting with thisisneverthat for a series of BOWER Boots and PEPPER Lows last month, Suicoke has returned to begin the rollout for its Spring/Summer 2023 collection. Pulling back the curtain on the line’s official lookbook, the cult footwear label pictures its latest cuts in Yakushima, Japan, an island known for its wildlife and cedar forests.Among natural elements and textured settings, Suicoke’s SS23 designs place an emphasis on color, print and textile experimentation. Graphics, inspired by bananas, land atop several of the brand’s staple silhouettes, including the GTA and the MOTO, while the sandal purveyor’s made-in-Italy designs, including the POLK, CAPPO and URICH, are renovated with saturated tones and playful motifs. Both the MOTO and the DEPA styles now boast an original running sole, crafted by Suicoke, and the ZIP model arrives with a new textural appearance, made with a material mix of mesh under a check tape. Overall, Suicoke’s SS23 collection prioritizes comfort, with structural components and stylistic finishes that are ideal for warmer weather.Peruse Suicoke’s Spring/Summer 2023 collection in the official lookbook above.
