Sean Wotherspoon’s collaboration with adidas Originals on the SUPERTURF ADVENTURE might have been a divisive one, but things may be about to change for the silhouette as the Three Stripes has been busy making two new general release colorways.Coming in “Cream White” and “Wild Brown,” these GR iterations take a more relaxed approach than their Wotherspoon-designed counterparts. As a result, it makes the already busy pair increasingly wearable, with pops of color added to the webbing details and other technical elements of the ’90s-inspired hiking sneaker, livening up the overall design.For example, the “Cream White” offering sports a multi-layered upper comprising mesh and suede panels that are intersected with lilac webbing, with the latter also marking out the Three Stripes. SUPERTURF branding graces the tongue, which itself is covered in speckled rope laces like you’d find on a pair of hiking shoes, while a zipper has also been added to the tongue’s covering to make it more resilient to the conditions outdoors.As for the “Wild Brown” colorway, the makeup is centered more around the burgundy suede and brown suede panels that cover the copper-tinged mesh. Pops of forest green work the collar, heel, and interior, while black webbing serves as a break of color on this wintery pair.The SUPERTURF ADVENTURE is fitted with a multi-piece sole unit harnessed by adiPRENE+ cushioning and stability technology, as well as a heavy-lugged outsole for extra grip. Louis Vuitton is back with another luxury iteration of a skate-inspired classic with its Beverly Hills slip-on sneaker.Dipped in all-white, the shoe features an oversized LV monogram-embossed calf leather upper with the brand’s name on the heel tab. The slightly puffy upper is complemented by a thick lightweight rubber outsole in white with matching stitching. In 2022, Jordan Brand is chiming in on the action by whipping up a playful women’s Air Jordan 1 Mid “Valentine’s Day” colorway, and it has just emerged onto the scene by way of official images.The February 14th holiday is traditionally associated with brighter pastels and blends of rosy colors, and that’s exactly what gets delivered on this pair of J’s. Soft shadings of dusted pinks alternate between the toe boxes, quarter panels and the overlays closest to these areas, while the lower heel overlays and ankle flaps elect to go with a muted rose hue. Extra contrasting hits are visible through the ball-and-wings logos and Swooshes which are done up with a shimmery hot pink while the tongue and collars are styled with a clean white mesh.
