Nike’s Dunk Low Disrupt 2 Goes Heavy on the Exposed Stitchings

Nike will often reference its classic silhouettes in order to fashion new ones, and that was exactly the case with the Dunk Low Disrupt that made its debut to the market during Fall 2020. And to kick off 2022, the Swoosh team looks to expand upon its catalog with a sequel model in the Nike Dunk Low Disrupt 2 which has just revealed its first official colorway. This newest offering serves as a major departure from the original as it boasts an entirely new construction. Instead of implenting blocky, dimensional midsole units, the Beaverton brand has crafted the model with canvas uppers, hairy suede overlays and various exposed stitchings that almost give off a blueprint-inspired type of vibe. Oversized outlines of Swoosh logos are stitched into both the lateral and medial walls, but the former also comes furnished with a filled in logo closer to the throat. Extra overlays are also added just beneath the heel tabs and on the lower heels which extend onto the midsoles, and the toe boxes feature an added piece towards outer end for the laces to loop through. Retro pinwheels on the insoles indicate that these are crafted with recycled materials, and the speckled midsoles and bottoms echo this intention.Peep a closer look at the “Phantom/University Blue/Machalite” colorway, and expect these to release sometime in the coming months.Previously, Jordan Brand unveiled more Air Jordan 1 Low Golf colorways.

Official Images of the Air Jordan 5 Low “Arctic Pink”

An assortment of playful colorways were previewed in Jordan Brand’s 2022 Spring Retro Collection announcement, some of which are dropping as exclusives for the ladies. One of the offerings that is in preparation to arrive this season is the Air Jordan 5 Low “Arctic Pink” colorway that has just surfaced onto our radar via official imagery. Most of the real estate on the base layer of these lifestyle kicks is swathed in its titular shade as its “Arctic Pink” hue cascades over the nubuck side panels, overlays and interior lining. You’ll also find a slightly more dusted shade of pink and hot pink accents utilized in smaller dosages, the former of which is shown on the quarter panel netting and eye stays while the latter lands on the tongue’s Jumpman logos on the lace locks. The midsole pieces bring in further contrasts as the heightened mold and the traditional spikes are painted in black while the middle piece that hosts its exposed Air unit is styled in a hot pink. Semi-translucent treading is also tinted with more “Arctic Pink” but comes packaged with more saturated panels towards the middle and across the front.Looking to cop? You can expect these to drop on February 11 for $175 via Nike and other retailers. In case you missed it, more photos of the Air Jordan 1 High OG “Stage Haze” have showed up.

LaMelo Ball’s PUMA MB.01 “Buzz City” is Unveiled

LaMelo Ball is indisputably one of the most electrifying point guards in the NBA right now as he’s been racking up 19 points, seven rebounds and seven assists in his sophomore season. And all-year long, the lanky hooper has been balling out in his first signature shoe — the PUMA MB.01 — which has now officially been unveiled in a “Buzz City” colorway. The two-toned rendition is an overt nod to the colors of the Charlotte Hornets, and deviates away from the flamboyant, all-red aesthetic that was seen on the model’s inaugural makeup. The base layer is formed with breathable mesh and synthetic materials and comes mostly doused with a stealthy “Puma Black” tone. Second in line comes a vivid “Blue Atoll” hue which provides a decent amount of pop across the intricately embroidered collar wings, PUMA logo borders on the forefoot, “1 of 1” notations on the tongues, wings down the middle of the throat and the “Not From Here” slogan right above the toe box. Another “1 of 1” marking is positioned on the medial side’s forefoot, but it’s presented in tonal fashion. Galaxy patterns are printed across the insoles and come paired with white branding while the sculpted midsoles and treading are done up in more black. You can find these court-ready sneakers releasing on February 4 via PUMA for $125 USD.Elsewhere in the footwear world, PUMA recently honored Nipsey Hussle with a new The Marathon Clothing collection.
