Nike Sends Love From Beaverton With This Air Force 1 Low “Have a Nike Day” Colorway

Nike will often recycle through its library of adventurous footwear themes every year, one being the “Have a Nike Day” motif that has already appeared on a barrage of silhouettes from the Air Max 90 to the Air Max 1 to the Air Max 97 and beyond. And this season, the Swoosh team has plans of lending it to this Nike Air Force 1 Low “Have a Nike Day” makeup that bears positive messaging from the brand’s world headquarters.Vivid graphics and text hits are the key details on this lifestyle rendition. Planted onto the lateral heels are images of a sunflower whose bold yellow petals surround a faded black and white Nike smiley face logo. “From Beaverton With Love” notations are housed inside oval shapes atop the tongues and insoles and come conjoined with a bold yellow Nike Sportswear logo. Against the yellow heel overlays, you’ll find that the traditional Nike Air insignias have been substituted out for “Have a Nike Day” embroidery to echo its theme. Save for the solid black coatings that land on the side Swooshes and the golden stars on the medial forefoot, the rest of the kicks are done up with white exteriors. As of now, Nike doesn’t have a solid release date for these just yet, but you can expect them to drop in the coming months. For other sneaker news, Naomi Osaka has released her third Nike apparel collection.

Reebok’s New Solution Mid Model is Inspired By Allen Iverson’s Question Mid

Allen Iverson is one of the most respected athletes to ever be associated with the Reebok family as he transcended the game of basketball with his jaw-dropping performances on the floor and undeniable swagger off the court. And this season, the vector brand is honoring the legendary point guard with by referencing his signature line of sneakers to fashion a brand new silhouette: the Reebok Solution Mid.The overall design is inspired by the Sixers icon’s Question Mid model, but appears with subtle changes in its build that adhere to more contemporary design sensibilities. Hints of Iverson-inspired DNA is apparent here through model’s elements such as the vector logos that are located on the quarter panels, overlays that adorn the toe boxes and the semi-chunky midsole pieces which feature pods in the forefoot and the heel. The height of the Solution Mid is slightly shorter than its muse and it comes mostly formed with mesh underlays instead of smooth leathers. Additionally, overlays with airy slits have been attached to the mid-foot, and these also hold down the piping that starts on the forefoot and runs towards the heels.Three colorways have been unveiled: the “White/Red” which is inspired by the OG Question “Red Toe,” the “Black/White” makeup that nods to the “OG Meets OG” Question Mid and a stealthy all-black variation.Peep a closer look at each colorway above and note that they’ll be dropping via Reebok this coming March. For other sneaker-related news, Reebok has unveiled its newest collection with BAPE.

Reebok Honors Julius Erving With This Crisp Question Mid “Dr. J” Colorway

When going down the list of all-time basketball greats Julius Erving is certainly a player that you cannot forget as he displayed an immense amount of athleticism and impressed the world with his high-flying scoop layups. And this year, Reebok is paying its respects to the human highlight reel by fashioning a special Reebok Question Mid “Dr. J” colorway. The color palette is an overt nod to his former Philadelphia 76ers team — and this works out perfectly given that this is the signature shoe of a fellow Sixers legend in Allen Iverson. Most of the base layer comes assembled with angelic leathers, clean white mesh and synthetic tongues, and it’s accompanied by bold red accents that touch the vector branding, tongue trim and heightened heel panels. Golden hits are also present atop the Reebok branding that adorns the lace loops as well as the tongue logos. Inside the shoes, you’ll find an illustrated caricature of AI that represents his iconic SLAM cover from 1999, and the lower heels have been graced with a “6” to nod to Erving’s jersey number. An official launch date has yet to be announced by the Reebok team, but it’s likely that they will arrive sometime this Spring for the usual $150 USD.In other news, BAPE and Reebok has unveiled its SS22 footwear collaboration.
