Jordan Brand Dips the AJ1 Low Golf in Navy

Jordan has been cruising at full throttle in the waning weeks of 2022, putting a special emphasis on its fairway ready offerings, and more specifically the AJ1 Low Golf. Having only just provided a glimpse of the shoe in “Rust Pink” and “Croc Skin,” the brand has now unveiled a navy colorway. It’s a move that makes a lot of sense for Jordan, seeing as the spikeless golf sneaker is embraced not just by amateurs but by touring professionals like Tony Finau, Rory McIlroy and Nelly Korda. And it’s not hard to imagine this latest navy version finding its way onto the TV screen due to its neutrally colored arrangement. In terms of the color blocking, the silhouette can be compared the “Chicago” with the use of its titular hue in the toe, forefoot and heel overlays as well as the outsoles. The toe boxes, quarters, tongues and midsoles are splashed with white, while the black Swooshes, laces and balls-and-wings logos blend into the dark navy background. Rounding out the look is Jordan Golf branding on the tongues, insoles and outsoles. No release date is available yet, but keep an eye out for an early 2023 drop via Nike’s official website for $140 USD. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Tony Finau (@tonyfinaugolf)In case you missed it, Hypegolf visited guitar maker James Carbonetti at his Brooklyn studio to find out why he collaborated on a putter with Callaway.

New Balance 990v2 Gets Covered With Pink and Purple Overlays

New Balance already had momentum on its side before the appointment of Teddy Santis as one of its creative directors, but once the initiatives he helmed started to be released to the public, the brand was lifted to new heights. His trained eye for details and striking color palettes has paid off for the sportswear brand, and he’s poised to deliver more of that energy in 2023.To ring in the new year, the ALD founder has plans to broaden the range of the New Balance 990v2 with a bold three-toned colorway. The mesh layers up top along with the surrounding smooth suede overlays are splashed with vivid pink and purple color-blocking. Tongues and laces are formed in white while brighter yellow hits apply to the N logos and interior liners, the latter of which give the lifestyle kicks a slight bit of Lakers-inspired personality. Downstairs, the ABZORB-cushioned midsole pieces are fashioned with creamy exteriors while the bottoms come dialed to a solid black hue.Peep an in-depth look at the pair above and find these dropping via New Balance and select retailers on January 12.In case you missed it, official images of all four of the New Balance 1906D “Protection Pack” colorways have emerged.

Clarks Originals’ Nature x One Navy Combination Is the Best of Both Worlds

Clarks Originals has just presented its all-new Nature x One Navy Combination sneaker — and it looks to merge the functionality of a running shoe with a slew of contemporary undertones to allow it to also fall under the smart-casual umbrella.Recently, Clarks has unveiled an assemblage of activity-driven shoes — such as the ATL Trek Combi and Lockhill Oxblood Combi — all of which are dubbed by Clarks to be the “ultimate casual-sports hybrid,” packed with performance materials and next-gen technology. For this new Nature x One Navy Combination, the sneaker includes new sole compresses at the heel — which appears to have some similarities to On Running’s Cloudmonster silhouette — and they’re designed to flex with your feet as they move. This is done through the combination of cushioning and a flexible construction that absorbs shock and moves freely. The new sneaker also features a navy leather and suede upper, while its removable footbed encourages circulation and gives customizable all-day comfort. Furthermore, new Agion antibacterial technology — which is made with a part-recycled mesh lining — is used to deliver consistent freshness. Rounding off the design, a light EVA outsole is used to absorb shock. You can have a closer look at the new Nature x One Navy Combination sneaker above and it is available on the official Clarks Originals website now for approximately $110 USD.In other footwear news, take a look at the new Nike Zoom Freak 4 “Etched In Stone.”
