Nike ACG’s Air Moc Returns in Breezy “Ocean Bliss Blue”

A comfy cult classic that fans of the outdoor-focused Nike ACG line first cozied up to in 1994, the original ACG Air Moc returned earlier this year in a stark all-black colorway — and now it’s back again in a much more breezy “Ocean Bliss Blue” makeup. Offering a two-tone palette and a build that’s equal parts house shoe and street-ready stomper, the “Ocean Bliss Blue” brings throwback style into a new decade.Pockmarked synthetic uppers are dressed in the shoe’s titular shade and feature a laceless build, with fit adjustment provided by a toggle at the heel. This toggle is surrounded by a flecked black heel overlay, itself embroidered with an “Ocean Bliss Blue” ACG logo. Insoles are black as well and feature a swirling, abstract pattern that cleverly morphs into another ACG logo at the heel. Down below, a thin black rubber outsole with flecked detailing of its own and a much sleeker shape than the chunky ACG Moc 3.5 completes the look. The bits and pieces of color on the outsole and heel tab indicate that they may be constructed of recycled materials, but this has yet to be confirmed by Nike.At the time of writing, the Nike ACG Air Moc has yet to receive a release date. However, it’s likely to touch down on the Nike webstore in the coming weeks. For more footwear news be sure to check out Sole Mates, a weekly Hypebeast series that spotlights notable individuals in street culture and their connection to their favorite sneakers.

SZA Nods to Early 2000s Y2K Style With Her Next Crocs Collaboration

SZA is on the brink of delivering her next studio album S.O.S., but before she blesses our ears with new tunes she’s taking a moment to cater to our feet by piecing together a new collection with Crocs. The R&B artist first linked up with the clog-focused company back in May to celebrate Mental Health Awareness Month, and now she’s shining a light on Y2K style to deliver her takes on the Cozzzy Sandal and Crush Clog. Both offerings serve as a love letter to early 2000s fashion trends. The Cozzzy Sandal is ornamented with furry interior lining — a fabric that will be convenient for the upcoming colder months — and come wrapped with denim print. Like her previous woodgrain Crocs, this next set also comes with playful Jibbitz™ charms that pertain to this throwback movement including a flip phone, floppy disk and puka shells. The Crush Clog is SZA’s elevated interpretation of the Crocs Classic Clog. Distressed denim graphics are also applied to the upper while the midsoles are fashioned in all-white to further echo its Y2K motif.Starting today, cans can shoot a text message to 812-SZA-CROC for a chance to win a pair. All winners will be notified by December 5 while non-winners will be directed to enter its online raffle on December 6.In case you missed it, SZA revealed the album artwork for S.O.S.
