Throughout the fall 2022 season, Nike has giving its Zoom Vomero 5 silhouette a hefty push. The lifestyle runner has appeared in a flock of new inline colorways and was also highlighted in the 2023 Doernbecher Freestyle XVIII collection for 2023. And to further contribute to its momentum, the Swoosh has just recently revealed a brand new “Black Sesame” iteration by way of official imagery.Base layers of this particular installment are made with a more elevated feel than we’re used to seeing for this silhouette. The mesh uppers remain intact, but suede overlays have now been added in, both of which are fitted with a stealthy “Black Sesame” hue. Autumnal notes of brown play a secondary role here as they navigate their way onto the interior linings, the throat stripes, and the sole units, the latter of which is also contrasted by beige towards the rear. Tongue banners swap out their usual Nike branding for the Swoosh’s retro script logo and the insoles are treated with bold blue backdrops and imagery of white rabbits throughout.Nike and select retailers will launch these in the coming weeks, so peep a closer look here.In other sneaker news, on-foot images of the AMBUSH x Nike Air Force 1 Low have appeared.

Explore the WEB3 Community With the New ASICS x Solana Collaboration
ASICS has just made a major step forward in its commitment to get the WEB3 community moving forward with the launch of its new ASICS x Solana UI collection. The Japanese footwear brand has been collaboration-heavy as of late, with its latest link-up coming with Cecilie Bahnsen — with the pair releasing 50 one-of-a-kind upcycled sneakers which came with a selection of unique flower designs. And while this said collection was presented in line with Paris Fashion Week 2023, ASICS’ current collaborative effort with Solana intends to appeal to a different audience as the duo has presented a sleek running shoe that comes with a loyalty ASICS Badge NFT with every purchase. For the design, the sneaker comes in black and white colorways — which go by the names of “Light Mode” and “Dark Mode” — and takes inspiration from the understated Solana designs that come from the user interfaces on computer and phone screens. The shoe also comes packed with a Solana gradient on the heel and tongue, while a reflective ASICS badge icon can be spotted on the heel. Keeping things as comfortable as it is stylish, the upper is crafted from a breathable mesh that adjusts to the natural shape of the wearer’s foot and lightweight, energetic cushioning takes over the insole. You can take a closer look at the new ASICS x Solana UI collection above and be sure to keep up to date on the official release on the ASICS website. In other news, take a look at New Balance’s 2002R “Steel” and “Phantom.”
