The Tom Sachs x NikeCraft General Purpose Shoe “Studio” Restocks This Week

When Tom Sachs announced that his latest project with Nike would be perennial, skeptics questioned the validity of this commitment. Known for highly-sought after collaborations with the Swoosh, the American contemporary artist has held true to his word thus far with his initial NikeCraft General Purpose Shoe “Studio” colorway hitting shelves for a third time this year.First landing on shelves in June and seeing a restock in August, Sachs has now revealed that the pair, still going for upwards of double its original retail price on secondary markets, will be available once again before the year’s end. While its release is sure to be flooded with eager customers, it is just the latest of many colorways and restocks that the duo have produced under the NikeCraft line that will be available. The third restock of the Tom Sachs x NikeCraft General Purpose Shoe “Studio” is scheduled to take place December 2 via NikeCraft.com. Look for it to be purchasable at a price of $110 USD with more restocks likely to come as demand continues to hold steady for pairs. For more in the busy world of footwear, Drake discussed the design of his upcoming NOCTA x Nike Air Force 1 Low “Love You Forever,” citing inspiration from his Mom and their favorite book.

Gear Up for the Trails With Madhappy’s Salomon XT-6 FT Collaboration

Madhappy dug even deeper into the collaborations space throughout 2022 by generating projects alongside GUESS, Columbia, Beats and more, and to further build upon this impetus, it’s now teaming up with Salomon to do its own interpretation of the XT-6 FT. This marks the first occasion that an external partner has executed its own rendition of the trail-ready silhouette.“The Salomon Team both in North America (Bryan, George) and at their HQ (Alexander, Thibault, Robin) have been a true pleasure to work with”, says Noah Raf, co-founder & Chief Creative at Madhappy. “Their deep understanding of product and culture has been inspiring and lead us to our first project together on the XT-6 FT.”For this installment, Madhappy leans on a brighter color scheme to ornament its upper. Backdrops are fashioned in a bright white hue and complemented by pale blue quarter panels and overlays that sit near the throat. Striking pops of red are sprinkled to the interior liners, zig-zag overlays that rest beneath its mid-foot film and the Madhappy branding that is printed down the throat banners. Salomon branding stands out in white and sits atop the navy mudguard that runs from toe to heel. Down below, the midsoles are also styled in a dusted blue hue while the treading features Mud Contagrip to provide grip in rough terrain. No release date has been announced yet but it’s likely that these will be hitting the shelves in the coming weeks. For more news, check out the MM6 Maison Margiela’s Salomon capsule.
