Dr. Martens has just presented its new “Leopard Pack” and it’s the brand’s late move in increasing its experimental iterations across its mainline silhouettes.Traditionally, Dr. Martens is best known for its 1460 boot and 1461 shoe, however, as we move into the colder season, the footwear giant has now dropped a new cozy style that’s designed with furry fabrications and heavy-set leather. The German brand is experimenting like ever before too; recently, Dr. Martens has presented a flurry of winter-ready styles such as its Jorge Shearling shoe which is designed with a shearling lining and branded buckles for a snug fit. With this in mind, Dr. Martens’ latest “Leopard Pack” has introduced two new styles in the form of the Smiths Hair On Leopard Print Shoes and the Adrian Snaffle Leopard Kiltie Loafers. For the Smiths Hair shoe, the shoe’s outer comes designed with an all-natural printed material that is made from authentic hair and leather. Additionally, the shoe is also a Goodyear-welted product — this means the upper and sole are heat-sealed and sewn together. For the Adrian Snaffle Loafers, it’s one of Dr. Martens’ most classic silhouettes. First coming to light in the late 70s and early 80s, the leopard print is a nod to the rebellious subcultures of the time. And while the shoe is based on nostalgia, the pattern has been revitalized with black Cambridge leather and leopard print hair across the vamp. Rounding off the design, the shoe is elevated with customary yellow welt stitching.
