Following its appearance on the Air Jordan 1, the “UNC to Chicago” theme continues to celebrate Michael Jordan’s journey from the University of North Carolina to the Chicago Bulls with the Air Jordan 2. The pair of Air Jordan Low 2 initially surfaced in October hinting at addition to Jordan Brand’s 2023 releases.The shoe is dressed in a white, fire red, dark powder blue and sail color scheme that gives a nod to both Jordan’s college and his long-time NBA team. The silhouette is constructed with a white leather upper that features red contrasting accents on both the pipings and the Wings logo on the tongues, a subtle nod to Chicago. The dark powder blue details that represent UNC are seen on the back heel and a portion of the outsole while sitting atop a sail midsole to round out the design. The sneaker is slated to arrive with an extra set of dark powder blue and fire-red laces. Yoon Ahn Unveils New AMBUSH x Nike Air Force 1 Low “Green/Yellow”
On her latest visit to Nike World Headquarters, AMBUSH creative director Yoon Ahn donned an unreleased “Green/Yellow” colorway of the AMBUSH x Nike Air Force 1 Low. Revealed for the first time on the massive outdoor staircase in front of the Nike LeBron James building, the new colorway marks the fifth iteration of the silhouette following a first look in classic “Chicago” colorblocking.Similar to the previous takes, the newly-revealed AMBUSH x Nike Air Force 1 Lows feature exaggerated tailpipe Swooshes along the laterals, co-branded tongue tags, oversized eyestay branding, and raised AMBUSH logos along the heel counter. Nike Air Max 1 Surfaces in “Burgundy Crush”
Nike is celebrating the 35th anniversary of the Air Max 1 with the release of the “Burgundy Crush” colorway, just in time to wrap up the Fall season.The latest release of the classic silhouette is constructed with a mix of premium materials. Plush velvet emphasizes the upper, while butter leather highlights the overlays and mudguards while faux reptilian-patterned leather is used on the heels. Monochrome tones hit the shoe, all arriving in similar shades from the tongue to the laces to the sole. Metallic gold highlights the upper eyelets and lace tips, while tonal branding matches the rubber outsole to round out the shoe. Take a look at the Nike Air Max 1 “Burgundy Crush” above.
